SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 513,427, dated January 23,1894. Application filed September 23. 1893-. Serial No. 486,333. (No model.)
To all whom t may concern:
Be it known that LJoHN F. TAUBMAN, a citizen of theUnited States, residing at Fort Plain, in the county of Montgomery and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Storm-Aprons for Vehicles;
and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specilication.
My invention relates to improvements' in storm aprons for vehicles, and the object of my invention is the provision of an apron which can be quickly applied and detached; which can be folded or collapsed to be capable of storage in the vehicle; which will be thoroughly elicient and durable and inexpensive, thus possessing the features to render the device practical and economical.
To attain the desired object the invention consists of a storm apron embodying novel features of constructionvand arrangement of parts substantially as disclosed herein.

I claim- 1. A storm apron, consisting of a case adapted to fit on the dash-board, and having a hinged cover and provided with retaining de-v Y vices for holding the case on the dash-board an apron secured to said case and having means for attachment to the vehicle.
2. A storm apron, consisting of a case adapted to fit on the dash-board, fiat springs carried by the case for engaging the side edge of the dash-board, and an apron secured to the case.
3. A storm apron consisting of a case having the hinged cover, and the apron secured to said case and adapted to be inclosed therein.
