The letter a represents a series of frames of suitable dimensions and provided at their edges with a setof projections or lugs a and correspondingrecesses a so that the adjoining frames naybeinterlocked. Across each frame as the cciling, Wall, floor or partition is to dis ia The tiles c, are Secured to the hacking P .V
b, by means of cement. This cement pro v j ects through the netting b, (Fig. 3.) and is arranged pr'eferably in narrow rows or blocked, set back from the edge ofthe tiles so as to leave the joints-free (Fi 2).
By attaching the frame *tofieceiling oi- Wall, the facing is applied in The frames with the netting and tiles pro erly attached are readily transportable and in order to apply the facin'g to a bhilding it is only necessary to nail the frames to the Wall and ceilin'g. This can bedone by driv.- ing nails through perforations 09,013 the frames and between the joints of the tiles. W'hen the frames are Secured in place, the tiles Will present a cotinuous surface, which is taut, 4
cannot become disledged and can readily be' removed in sections for the purpose of repair.
What I claim is:
