To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM S. PRIDE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Oakland, in the county of Alameda and State of California, have invented new and useful Improvements in Corners for Plastering, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a device for forming and protecting the'corners of plastering for walls.
Itconsists of a rigid structure, preferably of metal, fitting the corner formed by the meeting angles of the wall, and having projections from each of the angular portions substantially at right said projections forming the gage for the thickness of theplaster on the contiguous walls, a space for the plaster interior to said projections, and perforations through which the plaster may pass to form an lnterlock bond.

It will be seen that by the construction here shown a rectan ular space is formed between the angle of the sides A and the pro ectlng strips or gages 3, and-that when the mortar is spread upon the walls A, it also passes into this rectangular space thereby filling it. As the perforations pass through the parts A and the beads 3, and also through the interior rectangle, it will be. seen that when the mortar has been spread it will all be united and when set forms a very firm and solid corner which will not be liable to crackafter having set.
I wish it understood that various modifications may be made in the device without departing from the principle of the invention.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is 1.
