DETERGENT PASTE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 478,870, dated July 12, 1892.
Application filed March 30, 1892. Serial No. 427,015. (No specimens.)
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOSEPH JUDGE, of Pittston, in the county of Luzerne and State of Pennsylvana, have invented a new and useful Detergent Paste, to be used as a scouring and polishing paste for cleaning metals and other substances, and of which the following is a specification.
The composition consists of the following ingredients combined in about the proportions stated: linseed-oil, one part; coal-oil, one part; mirbane-oil, one part; adamantine,
' one part; ammonia, one part.
The above ingredients are boiled and then thickened with one part of tripoli, so as to form a suitable paste, more especially designed for scouring and polishing all kinds of metals. As soon as the paste has cooled it is ready for use.

Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent The herein-described detergent paste to be used for scouring and polishing purposes, consisting of linseed-oil, coal-oil, mirbane-oil,
'adalnantine, ammonia, and tripoli, all combined in about the proportions specified.
