PAPER-HANGERS BRUSH AND ROLLER COMBINED.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 387,562, dated August 7, 1888.
Application filed December 16` 1887. Serial No. 258,126.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM II. JACK, a citizen of the United States. residing at Grand Rapids,in the county of Kent and State of Michigan, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Paper-Hangers Brush and Roller Combined; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention,such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters and gures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a side view, and Fig. 2 is a top or plan View, of my invention.

I describe my invention as follows, viz:
A is the handle, made of wood or other snitable material.v
B are bristles secured along the longitudinal face of the handle A.

D is a screw-bolt on which the roller C is journaled in the slot or recess of thehandle.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as novel, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
A combined paper-hangers brush and roller comprising the handle having a rectangular slot or recess formed in one end, bristles secured along the longitudinal face of the handle, a screw-bolt, and the roller journaled thereon in the slot or recess of the handle, substantially as described.
