UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE BATIST MOTEA, OF BURSON, ASSIGNOR TO WILLIAM R. GAYLOBD, OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
MEDICAL COMPOUND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 387,313, dated. August 7, 1888.
Application filed November 26, 1887. Serial No. 256,261. (No specimens.)
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, BATIST 1VIOTEA, a citizen of the United States, residing at Burson, in the county of Oalaveras and State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Medical Compounds for Files; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full,
clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The said medical compound consists of the following ingredients, combined in the proportions stated, viz: common gunpowder, of finest grain, one quart; tablesalt, one quart; cider-vinegar, six quarts. These ingredients are first thoroughly mixed and mingled by agitation, and the product bottled for sale and use.
By the use of this compound in accordance with directions-to wit, for adults three tablespoonfuls at night the piles are speedily rehis. BATIST MOTEA. mark.
