COMPOSITION OF MATTER FOR LEATHER FOR RAZOR-STROPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 490,030, dated January 17, 1893.
Application filed September 24, 1891. Serial No. 406,749. (Specimens) To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK MINNIS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ann Arbor, in the county of W'ashtenew and State of Michigan, have invented a. new and useful Composition of Matter to be Applied to Leather Razor-Strops or for other Purposes, of which the following is a specification.
My composition consists of the following ingredients, combined in the proportions stated; Chimney ashes from burnt coa-l four pounds. Tallow two pounds. Beeswax one pound. Molasses onehalf pint. These ingredients are to be well mixed, as follows. Melt the tnllow and beeswexseperzttely. Mix them hot. Add the ashes till the mixture is like putty.
