- the cover member 10 and the blade holding portion 2 of the body member are similar in the shape and have grooves 3 and 11 extending lengthwise respectively.
- the blade holding portion 2 has a cut away portion 7 along the top edge thereof as shown in FIG. 3 and a guide surface 8 is formed thereon with a V-shaped groove 9 extending therealong.
- the blade holding portion 2 is further provided with a recess 6 below said groove 3 for retaining a leaf spring 5 therein.
- Said groove 3 is provided with an internally threaded tubular member 4-fixed thereto at a predetermined position.
- the lower part of the blade holding portion 2 has a blade mount portion 23 for interposing a blade 22 with the blade mount portion 23' formed on the cover member 10.
- the cover member 10 also has a cut away portion 14 along the top edge thereof as shown in FIG. 2 and guide surface 15 is formed thereon with a V- shaped groove 16 extending therealong just like the blade holding portion 2 of the body member.
- Said groove 11 is provided with two tubular members 12 and 13 fixed thereto at predetermined portions interposing said tubular member 4 therebetween when the cover member 10 is mounted to the blade holding portion 2 of the body member.
- a projection 20 is provided on one end of the tubular portion 13 for insertion into a corresponding hole 3a.
- the V-shaped grooves 9 and 16 form a tapered dove tail guide rail between the blade holding portion 2 and the cover member 10.
- the slider 17 is provided with a wave shaped top surface 24 for facilitating the sliding movement thereof with a finger.
- the slider 24 provided on the bottom thereof with a dove-tail slider foot 18 having tapered side edges as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6.
- the said dove tail guide rail formed by the V-shaped grooves 9 and 16 is so tapered for example that the width thereof is smaller on the front side than the rear side thereof so that the blade interposed between the blade mount portions 23, 23' may be more tightly interposed thereby when the slider 17 is slided forward along the guide rail in the cut away portions 7 and 14, and vice versa.
- the reference numeral 21 indicates a hole for insertion of a projection of an interchangeable blade supply case when the blade is interchanged or a new blade is loaded into the razor. This hole 21 can also be used for inserting and removing said screw 3b for assemblying and disassemblying of the razor.
- the reference numeral 25 shows a leg portion of the slider 17 having the slider foot 18 at the end thereof and sliding in the guide rail 26 between the guide surfaces 8 and 15.
- the blade 22 interposed between the blade mount portions 23, 23 is tightly held therein by means of the locking operation of said slider 17 pushed forward and fixed there to keep the blade interposed.
- the slider 17 is slided backward so that the blade mount portions 23, 23 are separated from each other by means of the leaf spring 5 to release the blade 22.
