  • Each gripping jaw 8 comprises a handle 13 for opening the jaw against the action of a spring I4. By means of said handle the gripping jaw can also be moved along the section bar 5 for adjustment to the width of the carpet web 3.

  • the apparatus may be easily adapted to any width of the carpet
