SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 364,847, dated June 14, 1887.

To all whom, if may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM OsBoRNE, a citizen of the United States, residing'at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and 'State of Ner York, haveinvented new and useful Improvements in Bathing Caps, of which the following is a specification.

device. The body A is imperforate and made of elastic Water-proof material, such as rubber. The brim B is elastic, to enable the cap to be fitted snugly to the head of the wearer. By this device a head-dress is obtained which is water-proof and which'oan be readily fitted to the head of the wearer.
Vhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is v A head-covering for protecting the vhair in bathing, consisting of the imperforate elastic body A, integral with the folded and doubled imperforate elastic brim B, which forms a watertight joint around the head of the wearer, substantially as described.
