  • Turbine drive shaft 58 extends into gearbox 13 and is journaled by suitable bearing means 59 carried by bottom plate 61.
  • Bottom plate 61 is attached to gearbox 13 by conventional means, such as for example, a plurality of bolts 62 and is sealed by O-ring 63 to prevent entrance of fluid into gearbox 13.
