To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, J AMES Ronnnar Dono- LABS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Seba, in the county of Benton and State of Arkansas, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Churn-Powers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
My invention relates to churn-powers; and the novelty consists in the construction, arrangement, and combination of the several parts, substantially as hereinafter described, and specifically pointed out in the claims.
In the drawings, Figure lrepresents a plan view of a churn-power embodying my improvements. Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof. Fig. 3 is a section on the line a; w of Fig. It; and l i g. 4 is a detail perspective view of the dash-rod and dashers detached from the churn.
Referring to the drawings, in which similar letters of reference denote similar parts, A designates the frame of the machine, consisting of the base timbers or sills a, connected together by rails to, corner-posts a connected by transverse rails a, near their upper ends, and rails a a, that extend longitudinally and are secured to the upper ends of the cornerposts. j
Bdesignates a block secured at one end upon the upper surface of the rail (0*, near one end thereof, and provided upon its outer surface with a stud, 1), upon which is loosely mounted a spur-gear wheel, 0, having a crank-arm, d, secured to its outer surface, and provided with a handle,l),by which the machine is operated. Modifications in detail of construction may be made in the within-described invention without departing from the spirit or sacrificing the advantages thereof.
