Be it known that I, JACOB MoELLER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Manitowoc, in the county of Manitowoc and State of Visconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Tables; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, refer ence being bad to the accompanying drawings,which form a part of this specification,and in which- Figure l is a perspective view of my improved table, and Fig. 2 is a horizontal seetional View taken through the upper end of one of the legs, and showing the removable shelf or support attached thereto.

sists in providing the same with detachable shelves or supports, substantially as will be hereinafter more fully described, and particularly pointed out in the claim.

In the drawings hereto annexed, A designates the top of my improved table, and B B the legs of the same. The upper ends of the legs are connected with the frame by means of the metallic strapsor bracketsGr G, having the straight horizontal portions H, adapted to support the detachable shelves or brackets I I, the inner corners of which are cut away, as at J, so as to accommodate the table-legs, as shown in the drawings. The straps or brackets G also serve to strengthen the connection of the legs with the table-fraine.

From the foregoing description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings,

The combination of the table, straps or brackets connecting the upper ends of the legs of the same with the table-frame, said straps having flat horizontal lower portions, and the removable shelves arranged detachably upon the said brackets, said shelves having the cutaway inner corners, substantially as herein described, for the purpose set forth.
