An object of the present invention is to provide a skirt hanger for attachment to a wire-type coat hanger incorporating means for frictionally hanging a skirt or similar garment, the weight of the suspended article acting to increase the gripping action of the member which frictionally engages the object.

A further object of the present invention is to provide Yet another important feature of the present invention is to provide a skirt hanger which is simple in construction, easy to attach to a wire coat hanger and relatively inexpensive to manufacture.
