BREAST-STRAP FENDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 287,696, dated October 30, 1883,

Be it known that I, JOHN G. LOOK, of
Olathe, in the county of Johnson and State of Kansas, have invented a new and useful :Im-
provement in Breast-Strap Fenders, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making a part of this speciiication, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective viewof a breaststrap fender with my improvements attached. Fig. 2 is a top or plan view of the same.
The object of my present invention is to secure a fastening for the neck-yoke strap integral with the breast-strap fender, whereby the neck-yoke strap would pull from the center of the breast-strap and the endof the yoke; and it consists in .the devicehereinafter explained and claimed, and is an improvement on Patent N 0. 183,312, issued to me October 17, 1876.
To enable othersskilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to explain the exact manner in which I have carried it out.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
l Abreast-strap fender provided with the slotted bent arm D for the neck-yoke strap cast integral therewith, with the eye thereof directly back of the center of the curve in the breast= strap plate, substantially as and for the purpose herein set forth.
