SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 281,967, dated July 24, 1883. Application filed June 14. 1893. (No model.)
- To all whom it may concern/.-
Be it known that I, ARTHUR WV. BUSH, of Boulder, in the county of Boulder and State of Colorado, have invented a new and useful Improvement in WVatch- Makers Tools, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had tothe annexed drawings, forming a part of this speci- 'fication.
This invention relates to a combination-tool for holding seconds-hands while reaming out the socket to fit the watch; also, for adjusting the ruby-pin or pin-jewel in the roller-table of .a watch; and the invention consists of the moved toward the handle, the outer ends of 0 the arms will be caused slightly to separate, so that the tool can be placed in engagement with the seconds-hand or ruby-pin, and when the loop is then moved outwardly the arms will be made to clamp the seconds-hand or ruby-pin and hold it firmly. One of the arms is provided with a stop, F, to prevent the loop from being removed from the arms.
What I claim is The combination-tool consisting of the stri A, having the spring-handle B, and arms 0 0, having a recess, E, between their contact-surfaces, and the loop 1) for confining the said arms, substantially as shown and described.
