My object is to furnish a device which may indiflerently be used for a work-table, gametable, blackboard, drafting-board, ease], and

for other purposes of the kind, and which will be economical in cost and simple in construction.

As an article of manufacture, a portable table whose top revolves between two standards or side posts upon journals having bearings therein, one or both of which side posts are slotted longitudinally, and having an adjustable brace slotted longitudinally, pivoted to the top, and united at its other end to one of the side posts by a thumb-screw or its equivalent, whereby the top may be secured in any desired position or angle, substantially as and for the purpose described.
