I therefore provide an electric lamp which is continuously illuminated as long as the refrigerating system operates to maintain the interior of food compartment i5 between 5 F. and i-5 F. and which is short-circuited to cause it to go out upon the occurrence of an abnormal rise in temperature within the food compartment.
