SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 264,166, dated September 12, 1882.
Application filed June 5, 1882.

Be it known that 1, JAMES F. JOHNSON, of Dayton, in the county ot' Montgomery and State otA Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Drawer-Pulls; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description ot' the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification.

When the handle hangs down, as seen in Fig. 1, the label is fully exposed, thus indicating the contents of the drawer, to whichmy improved pull may be secured by screws passing through suitable openings which have been provided in the frames or plates A. The label may in a inoments time be 4removed and another one substituted whenever desired.
This invention is exceedingly cheap, simple, and convenientfor use in drug and other stores and for many other purposes which will read- ;ly suggest themselves.
By using handles J ot' different lengths the frame-plates A A maybe secured any desired distance apart, so as to receive labels of any desired length.
Having thus described my invention, I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States- The herein-described drawer-pull and labelholder, consisting ot' the plates A A, having flanges B, bottom ledges, E, and boxes or bearings G, in combination with the handle J, journaled in said boxes or bearings, substantially as set t'orth.
