In Fig.5, there isshown a still further form of'the invention wherein the back of the blouse part is separable along the middle thereof and is secured by buttons 22. A front panel 23 is secured by a slide fastener arrangement 24 to a. front panel 25 of a slip part whereby the blouse can be detached from the slip part. This slide fastener arrangement extends straight across the lower end of the front panel of the blouse and upwardly at the sides of the front panel of the blouse. A rear panel 26 of the slip part extends upwardly above the upper edge of the front panel of the slip part to lie across the back of the wearer and is split, as indicated at 21, to provide for a slide fastener arrangement 28 which can be pulled upwardly to tighten the slip part about the wearer and to pull the front panel of the blouse about the waist of the wearer.

In Fig. 6, there is shown a still further form of the invention. In this form of the invention the blouse has separable back portions, as indicated at 3! and 32, which are joined by buttons 33 fit- The front panels of the blouse and slip may be fixed to each other or separable, in the manner as shown in Fig. 5. Slip 35 is slit, as indicated at 36, and is tightened by a hook 31 and an eye 38 on the opposite sides of the slit being joined together.

In Fig. 7, there is shown a still further form of the invention where there are separable blouse and slip parts. Blouse part 41 has a front panel 42 and a drop rear panel 43. The rear panel 49 of the blouse part 4! is dropped in such a manner as to provide a flap over the rear panel of the slip. The front panel 52 has button hole openings 45 which" are connected to buttons 46 of front panel 47 of the slip part 48. Rear portion 49 is elevated above front panel 37 of the blouse part and will extend under the rear panel 63 01 the blouse part. Elevated buttons 5] on the rearpanel of the slip part will engage with side butpanel of the slip part extending above the front panel of the slip part and to the waistline and adapted to lie under the rear panel of the blouse part, said rear panel of the blouse part being free at its lower end to serve as a fiap to lie over the rear panel of the slip part, the lower edge of the front panel of the blouse part being secured to the upper edge of the front panel of the slip part, the upper .side edges of-the rear panel of the slip part'being securedito the lower side edges of the front panel of the blouse part.

, 2. A combined blouse and slip as defined in claim 1 andmeans on the upper edge of the rear ton hole openings .52 on the blouse part. It will be seen that these parts are easily detachable and that there is provision so that the rear panel of the blouse part can permit the wearer to bend or stoop over.

It will beapparent that there has been provided, according to the various forms of the invention, a combined blouse and slip and where, if desired, the blouse and slip can be separated from one another, yet when connected to one another they form a unitary garment where the back panel of the blouse is free to be worked under the skirt and wherein adequate means is provided for drawing the front panel of the blouse around the waist of the wearer. The different parts of the garment will be made of the usual material which is used for the making of these parts. The blouse will be made of the usual outside wear material whereas the slip part will be formed of the usual inner garment material. The wearer can bend or raise arms overhead without hiking up the slip in the rear. The slip is not joined to the blouse in the rear but has means for tightening the rear portion of the slip upon the wearer.

While various changes may be made in the detail construction, it shall be understood that such changes shall be within the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the'appended claims.

What is claimed is:

1. A combined blouse and slip comprising a blouse part having front and rear panels adapted to extend below the waistline of the wearer, a slip part having front and rear panels, said rear panel of the slip part for drawing the front of the blouse about the waistline of the wearer.

3. A combined blouse and slip comprising a blouse part having front and rear panels,

adapted to extend below the waistline of the wearer, a slip part having front and rear panels, said rearpanel of the slip part extendingabove the front panel of the slip'part and to the waistline and adapted to lie under the rear panel of the blouse part, said rear panel of the blouse part being free at its lower end to serve as a flap to lie over the rear panel of the slip part, the lower edge of the front panel of the blouse part being detachably secured to the upper edge of the front panel of the slip part; the upper side edges of the rear panel of the slip part being detachably secured 'tothe lower side of the front panel of the blouse part.
