  • This invention relates to a device for sewing machines comprising a holder with a U-shaped hook which is fixed to the presser foot bar of a sewing machine and which U-shaped hook is adjusted in such a manner that the presser foot of the sewing machine is raised during a part of the movement of the needle-bar, so that the fabric to be sewn will thereby be released for a moment during each upward movement of the needle-bar.
