CORSET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent -N0. 252,935, dated January 31, 1882.

Application filed September 3, 1881.

.To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, M. EMMA FIELD, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Im 'n'ovementsin Corsets; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertaius to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of my improved corset. Fig. 2 is a top view of the same, and Fig. 3 is a detail view of one of the bosom-pieces.

Corresponding parts in the several figures are denoted by like letters of reference.

This invention relates to corsets or underwaists for ladies and misses; and it consists in certain improvements in the construction of the same, which will be hereinafter fully described, and particularly pointed out in the claim.
