arrangement and combination of parts to be hereinafter more fully described and claimed, and illustrated in the accompanying drawing in which:
Figure 1 is a top elevation of the desk.
Figure 2 is a side elevation.
Referring more particularly to the drawings, I have shown a desk having a back panel assembly I consisting of a panel of plywood board and two side panels Il of the same material. Desk top assembly I2 consists of plywood covered with linoleum or its equivalent. A shelf I3 is located directly under the desk top I2. A pair of seat supporting panels I5 and I6 consists of plywood board. A seat top assembly I1 consists of a wood frame covered with lineoleurn. Containers I8 made of plywood are attached to the outside of each side panel Il. Small shelves I9, having upturned outside edges, are attached to the containers I8 and to the side panels Il. A fluorescent lamp assembly 20 consisting of base, standard, and shade made to conform with the desk is attached at the back of the top I2.`
Although but one specic embodiment of my inventionvis herein shown and described, it is notY 2 Y my intention to limit my disclosure other than by the terms of the appended claim.
I claim: Y A piece of furniture of the character described comprising spaced upright side panels each having laterally spaced high and low level supporting portions, adjacent each other, a horizontal longitudinally extending desk top element exjtending between and mounted in close proximity to the top of said high level supporting portions of said side panels, a shelf extending longitudinally below and in close proximity to said top element, a closure panel extending above and below said top element and extending between said side panels, a horizontally disposed longitudinally extending seat element, extendingbetween and mounted on said low level supporting portions of said side panels, a closure panel depending from Ysaid seat element and extending between said low level portions of said side panels.
