  • a table, as set forth in claim 5, wherein the means to rotate the tilting member comprises a thrust member disposed in position to exert thrust between said thrust member comprising a roller adapted for rolling engagement on said tilting member.
  • a table for X-ray examination comprising hollow metal members rigidly interconnected to form a table frame having spaced, parallel side members, a support base, support means pivotally connected on said base and having pivotal connection on one side only of said frame on one of said side members, whereby to support the frame in cantilever fashion, carriage means adjustably shiftable longitudinally of said frame,
  • actuating means disposed within said hollow metal members and drivingly connected with said carriage means for adjustably shifting same on said frame, said actuating means comprising a driving member supported within one of said hollow members and movable longitudinally thereof, and transmission means drivingly connecting said driving means with said shiftable support means.
