The sections are retained in this formation by the resiliency of suitable springs 31, the latter assuming the form of straps of resilient material associated with the hinges 35 and adapted to normally urge the sections into the concave formation above referred to. The inner surfaces of the

A framework assuming the form of arcuate rods 39 is provided adjacent the yoke 15, the rods 39 being configurated substantially as shown and having the free end portions thereof secured in the aforementioned bearing blocks !6, as is best shown in the accompanying Figure 4. The rods 39 are adapted to support a suitable curtain 40, this being attached thereto by means of conventional hangers 4l. i

Finally, the invention includes a pair of atomizer assemblies designated generally by the reference character 42, each of the latter consisting of a tube 43, arcuated as shown and provided adjacent one end with a plurality of apertures 44. The tubes 43 are supported by suitable clamps or brackets 45 from the aforementioned yoke !5, and the remaining ends thereofare equipped with atomizer bulbs design.

suitable T-joints 41 are formed medially the length of the tubes 43, whereby a receptacle 48 may be separably connected to each of the tubes, as best shown in Figures 1 and 8. It will be noted that by compressing the bulbs 46, the contents of the associated receptacles 48 will be discharged through the apertures 44.

When the invention is placed in use, the apparatus is arranged substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings, and by simply manipulating the switch 21' to actuate the motor 20, the belt 29 together with the associated brushes 32 will be motivated as will be clearly understood.

The brush assemblies 32 will be `caused to submerge into the water 49 in the bath tub 25, and by progressively varying his position, the user may effectively cause the brushes to contact various portions of his body. It will be noted that by virtue of the articulate formation of the sections, 33, 34, and by the provision of the associated springs 31, the brushes will effectively adjust themselves to the contour of the user's body and an efficient contact thereof with the body will be facilitated.

The curtain 4niis 'provided for obvious reasons and one of the receptacles 48 may be filled with liquid soap, while the remaining receptacles may, if desired, contain toilet water. By simply compressing the associated bulbs 46, the contents of the respective receptacles will be discharged through the openings 44 onto the brushes 32, as has been already explained.

When the invention is not in use, the apparatus may be easily and quickly removed from the bath tub 25 by simply disconnecting the

It is believed ,that the advantages and use of the invention will be clearly understood from the oregoing disclosure and accordingly, further de- 46 of conventional 4 scription thereot at this point is considered unnecessary.

While in the foregoing there has been shown and described the preferred embodiment of this invention it is to be understood that minor changes in the details of Construction, combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without depart'ng from'the spirit and scope of the invention as claimed.

What I claim as my invention is:

`1. In association with a bathtub, a bathing apparatus comprising a roller removably and rotatively attached to the inner surfaces of the bathtub and extending transversely thereof, a base positioned at one side of said tub, a tubular standard extending upwardly from said base, a laterally angulated portion at the upper end of said standard, an inverted U-shaped yoke secured to said angulated portion, a further roller rotatively mounted in said yokc, said rollers being in alignment, a motor mounted on said base, a fiexible shaft extending through said standard and operatively connecting said motor to the upper of said rollers, an endless belt engaging said rollers, a plurality of brushes secured to said belt at spaced intervals, said brushes comprising a mici-section and a plurality of end sections hingedly connected thereto, resilient means for normally urging said sections into a, concave formation, a framework supported by said yoke, a curtain Suspended from said framework, and a pluralit of atomizers attached to said yoke and having nozzles positioned adjacent the said further roller for spraying toiletries within the tub.

2. In association with a bathtub, a bathing apparatus comprising a first roller removably and rotatively attached to inner surfaces of the tub and extending thereacross, a base disposed at one side of the tub, a standard extending upwardly from said base and having a laterally extending portion at the upper end of said standard, a yoke secured to said extending portion, a second roller rotatively mounted in said yoke in substantially parallel relationship with said first roller, a motor mounted on said base, a shaft drivingly connecting one of said rollers with said motor, an endless belt disposed on said rollers, a plurality of brushes secured to said belt at spaced intervals, said brushes including a midsection and a plurality of end sections hingedly connected thereto, resilient means for normally urging said sections into a concave o'mation, and a plurahty of atomizers attached to said yoke and having nozzles disposed adjacent said second roller for spraying toiletries within the tub.
