SPECIFICATION formingpart of Letters Patent No. 249,386, dated November 8, 1881.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, BRUNO Mi'ILLEIaof the city of Zwenkau, in Saxony, German Empire, have invented a new and Improved Cooler for Milk or other Fluids, of which the followingis a specification. This invention consists in the construction of a cooling apparatust'or fluids, capable of having the space betweenthe cooling-surfaces increased or diminished, as may be desired, and which can be readily taken apart for the purpose of cleaning, which latter circumstance is particularly of great consequence if the apparatus is'employed for cooling milk.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents an outside elevation of my cooling apparatus. Fig. 2 is a vertical section of the same. Fig. 3 is a plan or top view. Fig. 4 is a vertical section of the cooling-chambers, and Figs. 5 and 6 are details.
