1. 2. In a padlock, a case, a U-shape shackle having two legs adapted to enter said case, there mounted in' said caseand having locking ends in position toengage said recessesV when-*said shacklelegs -enter saidV case,'said locking ends beingmovabletoward and away from each other 'by' lever oscillation, a' locking plate movably supported in "said vcase between ,said locking ends, means normally urgingsaid plate tolocking position between said locking ends where it prevents removal 'of Vthe latter-fromsaid recesses, a vibrator movable to" a 'positionfor-'holding' said plate in i unlocking position to-permit removal o f said lever locking ends from said recesses, and a Vpermutation lock in said case lfor controlling said vibrator.
3. The combination of claim l including means operable by movement of said shackle away from said case for moving said vibrator out of plateholding position.
4. The combination of claim 2 wherein said vibrator is pivotally mounted on one of said locking levers and a portion of said vibrator, when the latter is in said position holding said plate in unlockingv position, is so located that movement of said shackle away from said case operatively engages said vibrator to move said vibrator out of said plate-holding position.
5. In a padlock, a case, a U-shape shackle having two legs adapted to enter said case, two locking levers pivotally mounted in said case, there being recesses, one in each of said shackle legs for receiving its associated locking lever, a locking plate supported in said case, means normally urging said plate to locking position relative to said levers and preventing removal of the latter from said recesses, a vibrator movable to a position for holding said plate in unlocking position to permit removal of said levers from said recesses, said vibrator being provided with a pivotal fmounting intermediate its ends, a permutation lock in said case engaging one end of said vibrator and adapted -to move said vibrator to said plateholding position by operation of said lock, the
other end of said vibrator, when said vibrator is being recesses provided, one in each of said shackle legs, said recesses being positioned opposite each other, two locking levers pvotally mounted in said case and having locking ends in position to engage said recesses when said shackle legs enter said case, said locking ends being movable toward and away from each other by lever oscillation, a locking plate movably supported in said case between said locking ends, means normally urging said plate to locking position between said locking ends where it prevents removal of the latter from said recesses, a vibrator having a pivotal mounting intermediate its ends on one of said locking levers adjacent the locking end thereof, one end of said vibrator being movable to a first position for holding said plate in unlocking position to permit removal of said lever locking ends `from said recesses, the other end of said vibrator in said rst position extending into one of said recesses whereby said vibrator is Oscillatable by movement of said shackle away from said case to move said vibrator out of said first position, and a permutation lock in said case for controlling said vibrator.
7. The combination of claim 2 wherein stop means is provided on one of said locking levers for preventing movement of said locking plate beyond locking position under inuence of said urging means.
