connects between the screw 51 and the shaft 59, through universal joints 62 and 63.
In operation the hood is opened as indicated in Figure 4, and the person to be treated lies on the bed with the Yhead resting on the support 2t, and the feet resting on the support 2l.
For a plain steam bath or other type of vapor bath, the material to be vaporized is placed in the receptacle 38, the heating units are energized, and the cover closed down over the person, all pins 55, having been retracted by turning the knobs 53. The roller sections are therefore idle and will move with movements of the body. The temperature is controlled by well known means.
If there is to be only a massage treatment without any heat treatment, the roller sections are adjusted to the proper positions to massage the portions of the body requiring massage and the knobs are then turned to cause the pins 56, to
Vengage in the closest apertures 55, after which the motor 54, is cut in circuit which causes the roller sections to reciprocate relatively slowly rolling back and forth under the body with the body supported thereon. When the person is lying face down, obviously no massaging of the shins and possibly no massaging of the breasts is desired, therefore only the central roller section The apertures 55, permit the roller sections to be adjusted suitably for persons of diii'erent heights and assure proper massage of the exact areas of the body desired. When heat or vapor is not desired, the hood may be left open or may be closed.
At any time when massaging of any specic area is to be discontinued, it is merely necessary to retract the .pin by turning thegknob on the front of the cabinet, the telescopic shaft and universal joints permitting engagement or disengagement of the clutch at any time.
Obviously heat or vapor treatments and massaging .can be simultaneously applied, for which reason the machine is adaptable to any desired single treatment or combination of simultaneous treatmentsv or series of treatments, including dIy heat, steam bath, vapor bath, and massage.
The rollers are formed preferably of a relatively soft or resilient material such as live rubber and their top surfaces are in a plane with the top surfaces of the fixed supports.
I claim:
1. A massage cabinet, in combination; a cabinet having a bed portion consisting of spaced fixed supports and intervening roller sections and driving means for reciprocating said roller sections in a direction lengthwise of the bed portion and means manually controllable for freeing any of said roller sections from said driving means at will, and a hood for enclosing said bed portion.

6. A combined sweat and massage cabinet comprising; a support formed as a box-like structure to form an enclosure and having front and back walls and a head end'wall; a track mounted on the inside of each said front and said back wall adjacent the top; a cross member at each end and xedly mounted at the top of the support,
and cross-members spacedly iixedly mounted therebetween; a vehicular frame for each space and supported on said tracks inthe spaces between the cross-members; driving means for reciprocating said frames and individual clutching means therefor and means for manually controlling said clutching means at will from the front of the cabinet; each of said frames having a plurality of spaced rollers rotatably supported therein with the tops of the roller bearings in the same plane as the top surfaces of the cross-members.
'1. A structure as defined in claim 6; a head support mounted on the head end wall exteriorly of the support and means for adjusting said head support as to angularity, and a hood hingedly mounted on the back wall to close over the bed and having a head end wall provided with a passage in registry with the head supports.
Y' 8. A structure as defined in claim 6; a head support mounted on the head end wall exteriorly of the support and means for adjusting said head support as to angularity, and a hood hingedly mounted on the back wall to close over the bed and having a head end Wall provided with a passage in registry with the head support; heating units mounted within said enclosure beneath said bed, and a receptacle mounted in heat exchange 5 6 relation to said units for creating vapor Within UNITED STATES PATENTS said enclosure.
