Die Exzenterscheibe 4 ist auf der Welle eines Elektormotors aufgesetzt und wird dadurch betrieben. Die Umdrehung des Elektromotors ist stufenlos von 0 bis 1400 Umdrehungen pro Minute regulierbar, wobei dadurch die Frequenz der Hin- und Herbewegung des Gewebebandes re­guliert wird. Die Umlenkroll 2 ist an ihren Enden in einer Schiene 10 gelagert. Dadurch kann die Umlenkrolle 2 in der Längsrichtung verstellt und ergibt sich damit eine Änderung der Spannung des Gewebebandes 1.
