The arrangement of the pack is such that the photograph will be exposed to view each time the pack is opened for the purpose of removing one of the matches.
Still further it is proposed to characterize the match pack by an outer cover sheet of flexible material for engaging over the cover of a pack of matches to completely enclose the same when folded in half.
A further object proposes the provision of an inner sheet secured at its sides and top end to the adjacent portions of the outer cover sheet for forming a pocket. This pocket is arranged to receive the top leaf of a conventionally constructed book of matches and is formed with a window opening through which a picture may be viewed when inserted into this pocket in a superimposed position upon said top leaf.
Still another object of the invention proposes the provision of an inner sheet secured to the bottom end of the outer sheet to form a pocket for receiving the bottom end portion of the bottom leaf on a conventionally constructed book of matches. This inner sheet is formed with an opening in an aligned position with that occupied by the match striking pad of the book of matches to permit a match to be scraped thereon to ignite the match, with the book of matches in position in the pack.
Still another form of the invention proposes the provision of a secret pocket sheet mounted on the inner face of the outer cover in a position beneath the cover of the book of matches, and which is arranged in a manner to receive paper money or small other valuable papers.
It is a further object of this invention to construct a photo match pack which is simple and durable and which sold at a reasonable cost.
For further comprehension of the invention, and of the objects and advantages thereof, reference will be had to the following description and accompanying drawings, and to the appended claims in which the various novel features of the invention are more particularly set forth.

A pocket match pack, according to this invention, includes an outer cover sheet I0 of exible material for engaging over the cover II of a conventionally constructed book of matches I 2. The cover sheet IS is preferably constructed of leather, fabric, imitation leather, heavy paper or other similar materials. An inner sheet I3 is secured at its sides and top end to the side andtop end portion of the outer cover sheet forming a pocket I4 for a top leaf I5 of the match pocket I I. The inner sheet I3 is in the form of a continuation extending from the top edge of the cover sheet I!) and is folded into a superimposed position upon the top portion of the cover sheet IB. The sides and top edges of the inner sheet I3 and cover sheet I8 are secured together by lines of stitches I6.
The inner sheet I3 is formed with a window opening I'I and has a sheet of Cellophane I8 extended thereacross. The pocket I4 is adapted to receive a picture I9 positioned upon the top leaf I5 and beneath the Cellophane sheet I8 to be viewed through the window opening II and the inner sheet I3.
A second inner sheet 2i) is secured at its sides and its bottom end to the sides and bottom end portion of the outer sheet I0 forming a pocket for the bottom end portion of the bottom leaf 2| vof the cover II of a conventionally constructed packet of matches. This second inner sheet 20 is in the form of a continuation from the bottom edge ci the cover sheet II! and is bent into a superimposed position upon the cover sheet I and is secured in position by lines of stitches 22.
This second inner sheet 2! is formed With an opening 23` through which the scratch portion 24 of the book of matches I2 is exposed for igniting one of the matches when removed from the book.
The photo match pack is adapted to be folded in half along the center line A-B to reduce the compass thereof and permit the folder to be conveniently carried in the pocket of the user. Means is provided for retaining the match pack in this folded position in which the outer cover sheet iS' will completely enclose the book of' matches. This is accomplished by means ci the flap 25 attached to one portion of the cover: sheet by means of a line of stitches 2li and vvhichV is provided at its free end with the snap fastener element 2l'. In folded condition of the match pack as shown in Fig. 1, the snap fastener element 2 is engageable With a complementary snap fastener element 28 mounted on the opposed end oi the cover sheet III.
A secret pocket sheet 22 is mounted on theinner face of the outer cover II) in a normal position beneath the book of matches. This secret pocket sheet has one end extended into a pocket Il! to the top thereof and is secured inA position by means of the line of stitches It securely mounting this end in position in the pocket. The outer end of this pocket sheet 29 is adapted to be engaged beneath a lug 3c which extends from the end of theflap 25. Thislug 30 is projected into the interior of the cover sheet I6. through a slot 3l formed in the cover sheet Iii adjacent the line of stitches 26 which secures the flap 25 in position upon the cover sheet II).
The outer end of the secret pocket sheet 29 isadapted to be disengaged from the lug SI1 permitting it to be pivoted away from the adjacent face of the cover sheet in the removed position of. the pack of matches, as illustrated in Fig. 3, so as to permit paper money or other valuable papers to beinsertedbetvveen the adjacent faces ofthe cover sheet IG and the secret pocket sheet 2.9. The free end of the pocket sheet 29 may then be 11e-engaged with thelug 39 to retain the materials in position therein.
