1 Claim.
time in so far as the pads or fillers are replaceable and can be cleaned or replaced at any time. Fourth, it has no parts to wear out and which may need replacement. Fifth, it is restful and non-irritable. In fact, there are many other objects and uses.
One form of my invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing in which Figure 1 shows the device attached to the body. Figure 2 isa perspective view of the device in an open condition. Figure 3 is a section on 3-3 of Figure 2;
Reading on Figures 1, 2 and 3, they consist of a large roll of gauze, filler or other suitable material It, a smaller roll of gauze, filler or other suitable material II, a cover I2 for said roll ID, a cover l3 for said roll II, a connecting strip M,
an abdominal corset l5, stitch lines fastening corset l5 to the connecting strip ll which strip holds rolls l and H in place i8, lacing portion l1, tightening loops l8, crotch portion l9, fastening ribbons 20, closing flap 2| for rolls l0, tightening strip or band 22, closing flap 23 for roll ll, tightening strip or band 24, central abdominal portion of body 25. i
In operation reading on Figures 1, 2 and 3 my device is placed underneath the body so that the larger roll I0 is under the buttocks and roll II is under the central portion of body. In this portion the corset I is next to the body and the crotch portion I9 is beneath the crotch oi the body, then the corset section I5 is lapped over the body toward the stomach, and the device is applied by lacing portion I! with a string, then fastening ribbons are-placed around the leg and through loop is and tightened in place on both sides, then tightening strips 22 are placed over the body or lower stomach and tightened or knotted together and form an abdominal band, said band is a part of the cover of roll it which roll has flap 2| to lap in and under said strip 22 and holds roll In in place, then tightening strips 24 are placed over the body or lower stomach and tightened or knotted together and form an abdominal band, said band is a part of the cover of roll II which roll has flap 23 to lap in and under said strip 24 and holds roll II in place. Flap 2| can be lifted up and permits roll ID to be removed so that the filler material may be removed to permit laundering of the cover. Likewise fiap 23 can be lifted up and permits roll ID to be removed so that the filler material may be removed to permit laundering of cover. Said rolls being further held in place by corset l5, binding strip l4 and stitched lines l6.
By raising the buttocks by the use of my device the person who is using it has his bladder put in a reflex position in relation to the intestines and thus prevents a spilling over of the bladder and the leakage of same while asleep. When the pressure is great enough the person wakes up. Three rolls or any modification may be applied.
Doctors have ascertained by experiment with my device that its use does prevent a spilling over of the bladder and by its use efiects a cure of this most disagreeable occurrence as it gives the muscles and sinews a chance to strengthen themselves and after a time my device may be completely dispensed with. My device is particularly adapt? ed to children of tender years but also can be used by older persons. It may also be used effectively for dropped stomach, ptosis and other post-operational needs.
While I have illustrated my invention in diiierent ways and using different materials and means, still I do not intend to limit myself to those particular means, designs, methods, materials, or uses, as it is apparent that other means, designs, methods, materials and uses may be employed for obtaining the same or other results within the scope of any claim without departing from the scope or spirit of my invention.
I claim:
'A device as herein described, comprising in combination, a body p0 zion fitting snugly around the waist and buttocks and laced in front by mcansvof a tape, and attached thereto a large and a small removable roll, a band to hold said rolls in place and stitching to divide the holding space so that each roll is individually held, covers for said rolls containing on each end a semi-flap to hold the rolls in place, said cover also having two strips on the ends thereof of sufilcient length to extend and tie over the body portion after the body portion has been fastened, a crotch portion extending from said body portion'and having two bands at each end thereof and loops attached to the outer lower extremity of said body portion so that the straps from the crotch portion can be looped and tied about each leg at the crotch.
