The pins are preferably arranged in spaced relation corresponding to the distance between transverse lines of severance defining the sections of the manifold, and adapted to engage apertures 36 of the manifold to feed said manifold through the register.

The surfaces 23 and 28 off the member IB- and rib 25 respectively guide the manifold into engagement with the' cylinder 29 andthe rpins engage in the apertures 35. The.panel5| is preferably `of .U shape, whereby the legs 52 and 53.are of substantially the same length as the'forms of the manifold and the extremeities of the legs are provided with trunnions 54 adaptedtoseat in apertures 55 in the cover to hingedly. mount the panel 5l thereon, said legs 52 and 53 being connected at the outer extremities thereof by a rod 56 to formA an enclosed opening of substantially the same size as the forms of the manifold, whereby the panel 5l, when in lowered position on the cover 3, provides a space permitting writing over the entire surface of the individual form. When said form is advanced to align a new form in the opening, the perforated lines 38 are arranged slightly forward of the rod 56 whereby the written form may be lifted and drawn against the rod 56 to facilitate tearing of the form from the manifold. Spaced slightly forwardly of the rod 55 is a slot 51 in the cover 3 to permit insertion of the carbon copies of the written form into a storage chamber 58 in the interior of the register, the

It is apparent, therefore, that I have provided a convenient, economicalv and-eflicient manifold register that is admirably suited for the purpose for which it was designedL What I claim and desire Patent is:

A register for sectional manifold strips including a housing having upper and lower sections, means connecting the sections for hinging the upper housing ysection on the lower housing section, said upper section of the housing having panel portions spaced apart to provide a passageway therebetween for movement of a sectional manifold strip, said upper panel portionhaving awindow opening extending `transversely of the passageway with opposite transverse'edges spaced apart to correspond with upper and lower edges of a section of said manifold stripand the lower housing for storing the sectional manifold strip,
