What we claim is: I f
1. A comb of the character described comprising a base portion and teeth projecting laterally therefrom `and substantially at right angles thereto, said base portion being provided with a projection extending substantially parallel to said teeth and adapted to be gripped by a finger extending through an opening in said base portion.
2. A comb of the character described comprising a base portion and teeth projecting from the upper part of said base and at an angle thereto, said base comprising spaced portions disposed beneath said teeth and adapted to engage two ngers of a hand when inserted therebetween; said portions being so constructed and arranged that the ngers inserted therebetween may extend through said base and generally in the direction in which said teeth project therefrom whereby to retain said comb on the hand with the teeth thereof overlying said fingers while the fingers may be freely flexed.

A comb of the character described comprising a base portion and teeth projecting from said base and at an angle thereto, said base having adjacent concave portions disposed below said teeth and adapted to receive and engage the upper sides of two fingers of the hand and means for engaging said fingers to hold them against 'l said concave portions whereby the base of said comb may be stably retained on the fingers with the teeth thereof overlying said ngers While said fingers may be freely flexed.
4. A comb of the character described comprising an integral structure including a base portion having teeth projecting therefrom and at an angle thereto, said base having adjacent concave portions disposed beneath said teeth and adapted to receive and engage the upper sides of -twofingers of the hand and portions below said concave portions adapted to engage the undersides of said fingers; and said portions being so constructed and relatively arranged as stably to support said comb on the fingers of a hand when said fingers are inserted therebetween while said ngers may be freely flexed.
5. A comb of the character described comprising a base portion and teeth projecting from said base and at an angle thereto, said base portion being provided with a pair of openings disposed below said teeth and adjacent each other and adapted to receive adjacent fingers of a hand; said openings being oi such size as stably to support said comb on the fingers of a hand when said fingers are inserted therein while said nngers may be freely flexed.
6. A comb of the character described coinprising a base portion and teeth projecting from said base and at an angle thereto, said base having adjacent concave portions disposed below said teeth and adapted to receive and engage the upper sides of two ngers of the hand, means for engaging said fingers to hold them against said concave portions whereby the base: of said comb may be stably retained on the fingers with the teeth thereof overlying said fingers while said lingers may be freely flexed, and said base being provided with a projection adjacent the finger-engaging portions thereof.
