Description
- Even though technology has provided great enhancements regarding commercial interactions, there is still a significant amount of commerce transacted in person either with personal meetings or trade shows. One particular industry in which in person and tradeshow commerce remains significant is that of footwear.
- As industry professionals will tell you, a significant difficulty in the personal and trade show settings for those engaged in the footwear industry is the bulky shoebox. The shoebox remains a staple in the industry.
- Carrying multiple shoeboxes is and has been a challenge. There has yet to be a simple device for transporting multiple shoeboxes in a configuration such that the brands, sizes, and styles, are viewable while the boxes are in the carry system.
- The present invention addresses this need.
- The present invention includes intended use for shoe collectors to carry their shoe boxes for the shoes that they plan to sell at a live event. It allows for mobility while carrying the shoes and boxes.
- Traditionally, shoe sellers would have to hold many boxes and it was very difficult to display the actual shoe, unless they had a very expensive table purchased from the event owners.
- In the field, it is known that the premier sneaker show or trade show for sneakers is run by an organizer named. SneakerCon. They do month to twice a month shows throughout the U.S. They have banned as of the beginning of this year, due to it also being a fire hazard, any carts or dollies or anything with wheels from entering their events. This has also created a need at these events to be able to carry sneakers and their original boxes but also allow the boxes to be displayed. Obviously, this very recent development is demonstrating a great need for the system of the present invention as it is evident other devices and systems have failed to meet the need.
- In one embodiment, the present invention is a shoe box carry system comprising:
-
- a rigid system back support;
- at least one shoe box support strap for holding a shoebox in said system;
- a pair of carry straps configured to be worn on a user;
- wherein each of support strap and carry strap are adjustable as to be taut when carrying shoe boxes in said system, said system constructed and arranged as to provide visibility of indicia on shoe boxes when said shoe boxes are carried in said system.
- In one embodiment, the at least one support strap is configured vertically to hold shoeboxes on said carry system.
- In one embodiment, the system is configured including two shoe box support straps.
- In one embodiment, the two shoe box support straps are configured vertically to hold shoeboxes on said carry system.
- In one embodiment, the visibility of indicia is indicia positioned on a width of said shoe boxes.
- In one embodiment, the visibility of indicia is indicia positioned on a length of said shoe boxes.
- In one embodiment, the said visibility of indicia is indicia positioned on each of a width and a length of said shoe boxes.
- In one embodiment, the present invention is a shoe box carry system consisting of:
-
- a rigid system back support;
- at two shoe box support strap for holding a shoebox in said system, configured vertically to hold shoeboxes on said carry system;
- a pair of carry straps configured to be worn on a user;
- wherein each of support strap and carry strap are adjustable as to be taut when carrying shoe boxes in said system, said system constructed and arranged as to provide visibility of indicia on shoe boxes when said shoe boxes are carried in said system, the visibility of indicia is indicia positioned on each of a width and a length of said shoe boxes.
- In one embodiment, the present invent ion is a shoe box carry system consisting of:
-
- a rigid system back support;
- at two shoe box support strap for holding a shoebox in said system, configured vertically to hold shoeboxes on said carry system;
- a pair of carry straps configured to be worn on a user;
- wherein each of support strap and carry strap are adjustable as to be taut when carrying shoe boxes in said system, said system constructed and arranged as to provide visibility of indicia on shoe boxes when said shoe boxes are carried in said system, the visibility of indicia is indicia positioned on each of a width and a length of said shoe boxes, and further including at least one horizontal support shelf configured to support a shoebox thereon.
-
FIG. 1 is a side perspective view according to one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a side view demonstrating placement of shoe boxes into the system according to one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a partial side perspective view demonstrating support straps according to one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is side schematic view demonstrating horizontal support shelves according to one embodiment of the present invention. - Although the drawings demonstrate various configurations the impetus of the invention is to provide a system for caring shoeboxes whereby indicia on each individual shoebox is visible when the system has boxes positioned in a carry configuration.
- This is a significant improvement over simple carry systems in which of boxes placed. In the system, the box indicia is not easily readable while boxes are being carried.
-
System 10 is constructing arranged such that aperson 12 carries more than two shoeboxes in the carry system of the present invention. - As referred to herein and demonstrated in
FIG. 1 ,system 10 has a carry configuration with at least two shoeboxes positioned therein for carry.System 10 includes afront strap 16 andfront strap buckle 18 we are byfront strap buckle 18 is constructed as is known in the art for adjusting the length offront strap 16. In one embodiment,horizontal support strap 26 is positioned about the perimeter ofshoebox 14 wherebyhorizontal supports strap 26 is secured to a snug fit utilizing securingbuckle 20.Vertical support straps 32 extend fromback support 24 and about the perimeter ofshoe boxes 14 insystem 10.Back support 24 is constructed and arranged to supportshoeboxes 14 when used in the system of the present invention.Back support applique 28 is constructed and arranged for supportingback support 24.Front strap applique 22 is constructed and arranged for supportingfront strap 22. As demonstrated inFIGS. 2 and 3 ,width indica 40 is visible when a shoebox is secured into the system of the present invention.Length indicia 42 is similarly visible whenshoebox 14 is carried in a system of the present invention. - As shown in the schematic I
FIG. 4 ,back support 24 is configured withsupport shelves 15 constructed and arranged to holdshoeboxes 14 onsystem 10. A user will position each shoebox on an individual shelf, and once the desired amount of shoeboxes are positioned,vertical support straps 32 are secured into position. - As has been explained herein, events such as SnearkerCon, tradeshows, and the like have placed great restrictions on caring systems for carrying shoeboxes in their events.
- While the invention has been described in its preferred form or embodiment with some degree of particularity, it is understood that this description has been given only by way of example and that numerous changes in the details of construction, fabrication, and use, including the combination and arrangement of parts, may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
