- Secondary batteries have high applicability according to product groups and electrical characteristics such as high energy density, and thus, are commonly applied not only to mobile devices but also to electric vehicles (EVs) or hybrid vehicles (HEVs) driven by electric power sources. Because secondary batteries may radically reduce the use of fossil fuel and do not generate any by-products that come with energy consumption, the secondary batteries are gaining attention as a new alternative energy source for improving eco-friendliness and energy efficiency.

- the first battery cell assembly 100 and the second battery cell assembly 200 may be slidably inserted into and mounted on a side and the other side of the module frame 300 , specifically, a front side and a rear side of the module frame 300 , and may be accommodated in a row in the module frame 300 .
- the battery cell assemblies 100 , 200 may be inserted in both directions of the module frame 300 . That is, in the battery module 10 according to the present embodiment, a plurality of battery cell assemblies 100 , 200 may be integrally accommodated in one single module frame 300 .
- the battery module 10 may have a slimmer and simpler structure.
- the battery module 10 according to the present embodiment may significantly increase energy density per weight.
- the battery cell assemblies 100 , 200 may be slidably inserted and mounted in both directions in the single module frame 300 , an assembly process of the battery module 10 according to the present embodiment may be simplified and manufacturing costs may also be significantly reduced.

- the plurality of battery modules 10 may be arranged in parallel in a width direction of the module frame 300 , and are connected to one another through bolting between the module frames 300 facing each other in the width direction.
- the plurality of battery modules 10 may be bolted and fixed to one another through the bolting members B at the side flanges 330 of the module frames 300 facing each other.
- the side flanges 330 bolted to each other through the bolting members B may function as a cross beam for buffering external impact or the like to the battery pack 1 .
- the connector member 50 for electrical connection of the plurality of battery modules 10 may be electrically connected to the plurality of battery modules 10 on an upper side of the plurality of battery modules 10 .
- the connector member 50 may be electrically connected to an external power source or the like.
- the plurality of battery modules 10 are bolted and fixed to one another through the bolting members B at the side flanges 330 of the module frames 300 facing each other, an additional member for a separate plate or frame for connection of the battery modules 10 may not be required.
- the battery pack 1 according to the present embodiment may have a slimmer and simpler structure. Accordingly, the battery pack 1 according to the present embodiment may significantly increase energy density per weight through this slim structure.
- At least one or more battery packs 1 may be provided and mounted in a vehicle.
- the vehicle may be an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle using the battery pack 1 as an energy source.
- the vehicle according to the present embodiment includes the at least one battery pack 1 , the battery pack 1 having high energy density and a slim and simple structure may be mounted in the vehicle.
- the vehicle according to the present embodiment may significantly increase energy density per weight, and the battery pack 1 may be more conveniently mounted in the vehicle.
- the battery module 10 in which energy density per weight is increased, and the battery pack 1 and the vehicle including the battery module 10 may be provided.
- the battery module 10 having a slimmer and simpler structure, and the battery pack 1 and the vehicle including the battery module 10 may be provided.
