Abstract

A triple-folding electric bed includes: a first bed body (11), a second bed body (12), and a third bed body (13). The first bed body (11), the second bed body (12), and the third bed body (13) are successively in detachable fixed connection or rotatable connection at junctions; when the electric bed is spread horizontally, the first bed body (11), the second bed body (12), and the third bed body (13) are on the same level; and when the electric bed is folded, the first bed body (11), the second bed body (12), and the third bed body (13) are folded in the thickness direction. The bed body of the triple-folding electric bed is divided into three separate parts and then fully folded to reduce the length of the electric bed, which thereby reduces the packaging size of the electric bed.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present disclosure relates to the technical field of machinery, and in particular, to a triple-folding electric bed.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Traditionally furniture is mostly transported by integral packaging or by parts. The former is not convenient for transportation, and the latter requires mounting at the place of sales, labor costs of which are relatively high, especially in developed countries such as countries in Europe and the United States.
  • In order to improve the cost-effectiveness of a product and the proportion of the costs of the usable value of the entire product, the packaging manner and the packaging size have been greatly optimized, but the main purpose is to fundamentally reduce a packaging size of the product, so as to adapt to the global logistics and transportation (such as the UPS) and reduce costs.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
  • The present disclosure will be explained in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • It should be noted that, orientational or positional relationships indicated by terms such as “length”, “width”, “two ends”, “two sides”, “end surfaces”, and so on are based on the orientational or positional relationships shown in the drawings. They are indicated only for the convenience of describing the disclosure and simplifying the description, rather than indicating or implying that a component or part being described must have a specific orientation and constructed in the specific orientation, and therefore cannot be interpreted as limitations on the disclosure.
  • A packaging size refers to an overall size of a package obtained by adding a length and a perimeter together. Herein, the perimeter refers to a complete distance that goes around the package or an object at a widest position and is perpendicular to the length; and the length refers to a longest side of the package or the object.
  • The disclosure provides a triple-folding electric bed, so as to solve the technical problem, in existing technologies, that an electric bed has a relatively large packaging size and thus cannot adapt to the global logistics.
  • FIG. 1 schematically shows a structure of a triple-folding electric bed in a folded state according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, the triple-folding electric bed provided in the disclosure includes a first bed body 1, a second bed body 2, and a third bed body 3. Herein, the first bed body 1, the second bed body 2, and the third bed body 3 are successively in detachable fixed connection or rotatable connection at junctions; when the electric bed is spread horizontally, the first bed body 1, the second bed body 2, and the third bed body 3 are on the same level; and when the electric bed is folded, the first bed body 1, the second bed body 2, and the third bed body 3 are folded in a thickness direction.
  • A volume of the electric bed is generally larger than an ordinary bed, and transportation space cannot be utilized fully if the electric bed is directly packaged and transported. The electric bed is divided into three separate parts, which are in detachable fixed connection or rotatable connection. For example, by punching at suitable positions selected on adjacent parts of the bed bodies and then securing a fastening component having good load-bearing performance to adjacent bed bodies with a bolt, adjacent bed bodies are connected and form a complete electric bed, and three bed bodies may be folded as long as the fastening component and the bolt are removed when folding is needed. For another example, adjacent bed bodies are hinged or pivotably connected therebetween, and a bed body may be rotated by at least 180° relative to an adjacent bed body. When folding is needed, the first bed body 1 and the third bed body 3 are respectively rotated by 180° in opposite directions to be respectively folded on a top surface or a bottom surface of the second bed body 2. Besides, the detachable fixed connection and the rotatable connection may be combined, and different connection manners may be used between multiple bed bodies. When the electric bed is folded, a length of the electric bed is reduced to one third of a length when the electric bed is spread horizontally, and a packaging size is reduced therewith, which breaks through a bottleneck that a large-size electric bed cannot be transported by the UPS and expands the scope of global delivery. It is preferable that an overall packaging size meets a requirement of a maximum size, i.e., length+2×width+2×height<420 cm. By folding the electric bed by dividing it into three separate parts, the length of the electric bed is reduced, so as to reduce a packaging size, fully utilize limited transportation space, improve a single transportation amount, and reduce transportation costs.
  • Preferably, for the bed bodies in detachable fixed connection, when the bed bodies are folded after the fixed connection is removed, it is preferable to add a connecting component for making relative positions of folded bed bodies fixed, so as to prevent slipping of two bed bodies from each other and damage to the bed bodies.
  • FIG. 2 schematically shows a structure of a triple-folding electric bed in a rotating state according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 2, the first bed body 1 includes a first supporting portion 101, a first base 102, and a first rotating mechanism 103; the second bed body 2 includes a second supporting portion 201 and a second base 202; and the third bed body 3 includes a third supporting portion 301, a third base 302, and a second rotating mechanism 303. Herein, the first supporting portion 101 is disposed on a top surface of the first base 102 and is pivotably connected to the first base 102, and the first rotating mechanism 103 is pivotably connected to the first base 102 and is able to drive the first supporting portion 101 to rotate relative to the first base 102. The second supporting portion 201 is disposed on a top surface of the second base 202. The third supporting portion 301 is disposed on a top surface of the third base 302 and is pivotably connected to the third base 302, and the second rotating mechanism 303 is pivotably connected to the third base 302 and is able to drive the third supporting portion 301 to rotate relative to the third base 302.
  • A dividing line between corresponding bases is used as a boundary between supporting portions. When a supporting portion in the first bed body 1 or the second bed body 2 is in a horizontal position, i.e., a rotating mechanism not starting to operate, the rotating mechanism is located between the corresponding supporting portion and the corresponding base, and the base serves to support the supporting portion. When the first rotating mechanism 103 starts to operate, the first rotating mechanism 103 drives the first supporting portion 101 to rotate upwards relative to the first base 102 by using a pivotable connection shaft between the first supporting portion 101 and the first base 102 as a rotation shaft. When the second rotating mechanism 303 starts to operate, the second rotating mechanism 303 drives the third supporting portion 301 to rotate upwards relative to the third base 302 by using a pivotable connection shaft between the third supporting portion 301 and the third base 302 as a rotation shaft. A position where the supporting portion is pivotably connected to the base is selected and disposed according to a rotating direction of the supporting portion.
  • The first bed body 1 and the third bed body 3 are designed modularly, are not affected by a size of the second bed body 2 located in the middle of the electric bed, and may be combined in various manners. When it is needed to adjust a length of a bed body, it is only required to adjust a length of the second bed body 2, and there is no need to adjust the first bed body 1 and the second bed body 2 with great efforts. It is only required to adjust connecting components between three bed bodies before and after the electric bed is folded, which is convenient and quick.
  • Further, the third bed body 3 further includes a fourth supporting portion 304. The fourth supporting portion 304 is pivotably connected to the third supporting portion 301.
  • One end of the third supporting portion 301 is pivotably connected to the fourth supporting portion 304, and the other end of the third supporting portion 301 is pivotably connected to the third base 302. The second rotating mechanism 303 drives the third supporting portion 301 to rotate upwards relative to the third base 302 by using a pivot between the third supporting portion 301 and the third base 302 as a rotation shaft, and the fourth supporting portion 304 rotates with the third supporting portion 301. At this time, only one rotating mechanism may drive two supporting portions to rotate, and more complicated deformation to adapt to a human body curve may be completed without the need to newly add a rotating mechanism, which does not increase the volume and weight of the electric bed, saves costs, and is helpful to control a thickness of the electric bed so as to further control the packaging size.
  • Further, the third bed body 3 further includes a linking rod 305. Two ends of the linking rod 305 are respectively pivotably connected to the fourth supporting portion 304 and the third base 302.
  • The fourth supporting portion 304 and the third base 302 are connected by the linking rod 305, and the linking rod 305 may limit the fourth supporting portion 304 to rotate with the linking rod 305 serving as a radius. When the third supporting portion 301 rotates to a certain degree, an end of the fourth supporting portion 304, which is pivotably connected to the third supporting portion 301, rotates with the third supporting portion 301, and the other end of the fourth supporting portion 304 is also raised due to limiting and supporting by the linking rod 305. A length of the linking rod 305 may be adjusted according to actual needs, and the other end of the fourth supporting portion 304 cannot rotate or be raised if the linking rod 305 is too long or too short. The fourth supporting portion 304 rotates to a certain height under the action of the linking rod 305, so as to better adapt to the human body curve and provide more comfortable experience.
  • FIG. 3 schematically shows a bottom view of a structure of a triple-folding electric bed according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 3, the second base 202 includes a first bottom rod 2021 and a second bottom rod 2022. Herein, the first bottom rod 2021 and the second bottom rod 2022 are parallel to a direction from the first base 102 to the third base 302. The first base and the third base are connected by the first bottom rod and the second bottom rod, and a width for which either of the first base and the third base extends in a direction from the first bottom rod to the second bottom rod is less than a distance from the first bottom rod to the second bottom rod.
  • Two bottom rods are respectively located at an outer wall of a side of the first base 102 and the third base 302, and the first base 102 and the third base 302 are connected into one piece by the two bottom rods. Although the bottom rods may also be disposed at an inner wall of a side of the first base 102 and the third base 302, disposing the bottom rods at the inner wall does not have a wide range of application as disposing the bottom rods at the outer wall. Besides, if the distance from the first bottom rod 2021 to the second bottom rod 2022 is the same as a width of the first base 102 and the third base 302, the bed body cannot be fully folded, which is not helpful to reduce the thickness and the volume of the folded electric bed. By means of the technical solution, when the bases are folded opposite each other, the thickness and the volume are reduced as much as possible to further reduce the packaging size of the electric bed, so that limited transportation space can be fully utilized.
  • Further, the first supporting portion 101 includes a first supporting component 1011, a second supporting component 1012, a third supporting component 1013, a fourth supporting component 1014, a fifth supporting component 1015, and a sixth supporting component 1016. The second supporting portion 201 includes a seventh supporting component 2011, an eighth supporting component 2012, a ninth supporting component 2013, and a tenth supporting component 2014. The third supporting portion 301 includes an eleventh supporting component 3011, a twelfth supporting component 3012, a thirteenth supporting component 3013, a fourteenth supporting component 3014, a fifteenth supporting component 3015, and a sixteenth supporting component 3016. Herein, the first supporting component 1011 and the second supporting component 1012 are perpendicular to the third supporting component 1013 and the fourth supporting component 1014. The first supporting component 1011, the second supporting component 1012, the fifth supporting component 1015, and the sixth supporting component 1016 are parallel to one another. The third supporting component 1013 is parallel to the fourth supporting component 1014. The fifth supporting component 1015 and the sixth supporting component 1016 are located between the first supporting component 1011 and the second supporting component 1012. The first supporting component and the second supporting component 1012 are respectively connected to end surfaces of the third supporting component 1013 and the fourth supporting component 1014. Two ends of the fifth supporting component 1015 and the sixth supporting component 1016 are respectively connected to the fourth supporting component 1014 and the fifth supporting component 1015. The seventh supporting component 2011 is parallel to the eighth supporting component 2012. The ninth supporting component 2013 is parallel to the tenth supporting component 2014. The seventh supporting component 2011 and the eighth supporting component 2012 are perpendicular to the ninth supporting component 2013 and the tenth supporting component 2014. The seventh supporting component 2011 and the eighth supporting component 2012 are respectively connected to end surfaces of the seventh supporting component 2011 and the eighth supporting component 2012. The eleventh supporting component 3011 and the twelfth supporting component 3012 are perpendicular to the thirteenth supporting component 3013 and the fourteenth supporting component 3014. The eleventh supporting component 3011, the twelfth supporting component 3012, the fifteenth supporting component 3015, and the sixteenth supporting component 3016 are parallel to one another. The thirteenth supporting component 3013 is parallel to the fourteenth supporting component 3014. The fifteenth supporting component 3015 and the sixteenth supporting component 3016 are located between the eleventh supporting component 3011 and the twelfth supporting component 3012. The eleventh supporting component and the twelfth supporting component 3012 are respectively connected to end surfaces of the thirteenth supporting component 3013 and the fourteenth supporting component 3014. Two ends of the fifteenth supporting component 3015 and the sixteenth supporting component 3016 are respectively connected to the fourteenth supporting component 3014 and the fifteenth supporting component 3015.
  • The electric bed includes multiple supporting portions, and each of the supporting portions is formed by connecting multiple supporting components so as to form a supporting surface which serves as a bed board. The supporting surface may have a quadrangle shape, an oval shape, or other shapes, preferably a regular quadrangle or a simple deformation thereof. A bar made of metals or other high-strength materials is used as the supporting component. For example, a pure steel bar is made into the supporting component by cutting, and supporting components are connected to form a rectangle which may serve as the supporting surface. A mattress may be directly placed on this supporting surface for a person to rest on. New supporting components may be added to existing supporting portions as required so as to improve supporting. By replacing the conventional bed board by supporting portions formed by supporting components, cumbersome steps such as cutting, punching, and assembling conventional wood bed boards can be omitted, which can greatly improve the production efficiency and reduce the costs and can also reduce the mass and the volume of a product so as to facilitate transportation.
  • FIG. 4 is a partial enlarged view of an open groove according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 4, an open groove 4 is disposed at an edge of a supporting component, located at an edge of the electric bed, in the first bed body 1, the second bed body 2, and the third bed body 3.
  • The first bed body 1, the second bed body 2, and the third bed body 3 are connected to form a complete electric bed. An open groove 4 is disposed at an edge of a supporting component, located at an edge of the electric bed, in the three bed bodies. The open groove 4 may go through the supporting component along a length direction of the supporting component in which the open groove 4 is located. Open grooves 4 on multiple supporting components may be connected to form a circle. An opening direction of the open groove 4 may be disposed to be any direction. Preferably, an opening of the open groove 4 faces an area below the electric bed or faces an interior of the electric bed for mounting a locking component to fix a fabric, so that a surface of the fabric is tense. For example, an open groove 4, an opening of which faces the base, is disposed in each of the first supporting component 1011, the second supporting component 1012, the third supporting component 1013, the seventh supporting component 2011, the eighth supporting component 2012, the eleventh supporting component, the twelfth supporting component, and the fourteenth supporting component, and open grooves 4 of these supporting components are connected to form a circle. When an entire fabric is used to cover a top surface of all supporting portions, edges of the fabric which go beyond edges of the supporting portions are locked in the open grooves 4 by using the locking component, so as to tense the fabric to achieve flat and beautiful effects.
  • When it is required to fold the electric bed, the tense fabric needs to be removed to prevent damage. For this purpose, an open groove 4 may further be disposed in supporting components at other edges of the bed bodies. For example, an open groove 4 is disposed at an edge of the fourth supporting component 1014, the ninth supporting component 2013, the tenth supporting component 2014, and the thirteenth supporting component, so that different supporting portions form separate circles of the open groove 4, and fabrics can be mounted separately. When it is required to fold the electric bed, it is not necessary to remove the fabrics, so that it is more convenient.
  • Besides, when a supporting portion is further added, the same effect can be achieved by disposing the open groove 4 according to the above manner. Meanwhile, the supporting components at the edges of the supporting portions may be formed integrally to have a smooth-transitioning arc-shaped bending at bending corners, so that scratching a human body can be prevented and that the electric bed looks more beautiful.
  • FIG. 3 schematically shows a bottom view of a structure of a triple-folding electric bed according to an embodiment of the disclosure. FIG. 5 is an enlarged view of a pulley assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 5, each of the first rotating mechanism 103 and the second rotating mechanism 303 includes a driving means 5, a rotating rod 6, and a pulley assembly 7. Herein, an end of the driving means 5 is pivotably connected to the first base 102 or the second base 202, and the other end of the driving means 5 is pivotably connected to the rotating rod 6. The rotating rod 6 is perpendicular to a horizontal direction of a driving force of the driving means 5, and the rotating rod 6 is provided at each end thereof with the pulley assembly 7. The pulley assembly 7 is located under the fifth supporting component 1015 and the sixth supporting component 1016 or under the fifteenth supporting component 3015 and the sixteenth supporting component 3016. The pulley assembly 7 includes a pulley rod 701, a first pulley 702, and a second pulley 703. An end of the pulley rod 701 is pivotably connected to the first pulley 702, and the other end of the pulley rod 701 is pivotably connected to the first base 102 or the second base 202, a middle section of the pulley rod 701 being pivotably connected to the second pulley 703, the pulley rod 701 being in fixed connection with the rotating rod 6.
  • Each of the first bed body 1 and the third bed body 3 is provided with a rotating mechanism. Two rotating mechanisms have the same structure, but positions where the two rotating mechanisms are disposed are adjusted according to the supporting portions that the two rotating mechanisms drive. A direction of the driving force of the driving means 5 is the same as a rotating direction of the supporting portion driven by the driving means 5. The rotating rod 6 is provided at each end thereof with the pulley assembly 7 for transmitting the driving force of the driving means 5 so as to cause the bed board to rotate. Meanwhile, it is preferable that the pulley rod 701 has a bending design. That is, a middle portion of the pulley rod 701 protrudes towards the supporting portion at an obtuse angle which is preferably about 150°. When the driving means 5 starts to operate, the rotating rod 6 rotates with the driving means 5 and drives the pulley rod 701 to rotate towards the corresponding supporting portion by using the rotating rod 6 as the rotation shaft. At first, the second pulley 703 contacts a bottom surface of the supporting component above the second pulley 703 and slides on the bottom surface, so as to cause the supporting portion to rotate relative to the corresponding base. When the supporting portion rotates by 20° to 30° , the first pulley 702 also contacts the bottom surface of the supporting component. Both pulleys slide on the bottom surface at the same time so as to drive the supporting portion to continue rotating. When only one pulley is disposed, a very large resistance appears when the bed board rotates by 20° to 30°. Disposing another pulley may overcome the resistance, so as to ensure smooth and steady rotating of the bed board.
  • FIG. 3 schematically shows a bottom view of a structure of a triple-folding electric bed according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 3, the rotating mechanism further includes a load-bearing part 8. The load-bearing part 8 is disposed at an inner wall of the first base 102 and the third base 302, and is located under the rotating mechanism.
  • The load-bearing part 8 may either be disposed under the pulley rod 701 between the first pulley 702 and the second pulley 703 or be disposed under the rotating rod 6. In either case, the load-bearing part 8 may prevent the rotating mechanism from going downwardly beyond the bottom surface of the corresponding base so as to control the thickness of the electric bed.
  • FIG. 2 schematically shows a structure of a triple-folding electric bed in a rotating state according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 2, a slipping preventing rod 9 is further included. The slipping preventing rod 9 is disposed at an edge of a top surface of any bed body.
  • Depending on a rotating direction of the supporting portion, it is preferable that the slipping preventing rod 9 is disposed in the rotating direction. For example, the slipping preventing rod 9 is disposed at an edge of the fourth supporting portion 304 away from the third supporting portion 301, so as to prevent slipping of the mattress when the supporting portion starts to rotate.
