Abstract
A waterproof prestressing structure of water bottles or cups, which mainly has a first main body and a second main body, and one surface of an elastic body is integrally provided on the first main body. When the first main body and the second main body are screwed to connect with each other, since the one surface of the elastic body is fixed on the first main body, the one surface of the elastic body connected to the first main body does not deform, and only another surface that contacts the second main body deforms, so that the elastic body does not excessively deform in a tight state, thereby reducing twist or damage of the elastic body caused by screwing. The elastic body is integrally provided on the first main body, so that there is no gap between the elastic body and the first main body.
Description
- The present invention relates to the technical field of water bottles or cups, and more particularly to a waterproof prestressing structure of water bottles or cups.
- Please refer to
FIG. 1 . The general structure of a water bottle or a cup mainly has acup 11 and alid 12. When thelid 12 is closed on thecup 11, a gap is formed between thelid 12 and thecup 11 made of relatively hard materials. Since thecup 11 is mainly filled with liquid, in order to prevent the liquid from leaking after thelid 12 is closed with thecup 11, conventionally, arubber ring 13 is provided between thelid 12 and thecup 11. - The
cup 11 mainly has a firstscrew thread surface 111 facing thelid 12, thelid 12 has a secondscrew thread surface 121 facing thecup 11, and therubber ring 13 is mounted between the firstscrew thread surface 111 and the secondscrew thread surface 121. After thelid 12 is closed with thecup 11, since a material of therubber ring 13 is flexible, flexibility of therubber ring 13 makes therubber ring 13 to be tightly attached to the firstscrew thread surface 111 and the secondscrew thread surface 121, thereby sealing thecup 11 and thelid 12, so as to achieve the effect of preventing liquid from leaking. - Please refer to
FIGS. 2 and 3 . During screwing process of thelid 12 and thecup 11, therubber ring 13 is not only subjected to vertical pressure from thecup 11 and thelid 12; because therubber ring 13 abuts on the firstscrew thread surface 111 and the secondscrew thread surface 121 respectively, when thecup 11 and thelid 12 are screwed and rotated relative to each other in opposite directions, therubber ring 13 is also subjected to torsion generated when thecup 11 and thelid 12 are screwed to combine with each other, which causes therubber ring 13 to show a severely deformed state after thecup 11 and thelid 12 are completely screwed together. - Even if the
rubber ring 13 is used normally, the material of therubber ring 13 is still seriously twisted, resulting in defect of damage of therubber ring 13. In view of this, it is indeed necessary to solve the problem that therubber ring 13 is severely distorted caused by subjecting to forces from different directions. - Furthermore, there is a gap between the
rubber ring 13 and thelid 12, so the liquid easily permeates between therubber ring 13 and thelid 12 during use. After a long period of use, limescale, sugar, grease and lipid remained from liquid accumulate between therubber ring 13 and thelid 12, which not only causing the problem of bacterial growth, but also making it easier to produce bad smell between therubber ring 13 and thelid 12. - A first object of the present invention is to solve the defect that the rubber ring is easily twisted to cause damage during use.
- A second object of the present invention is to solve the problem that there is a gap between the rubber ring and the lid, which is prone to bacteria growth and causes bad smell.

- Please refer to
FIG. 4 toFIG. 7 , the present invention is a waterproof prestressing structure of water bottles or cups including: - a first
main body 20 having a first connectingportion 21 and a first connectingsurface 22; - a second
main body 30 having a second connectingportion 31 and a second connectingsurface 32, the second connectingportion 31 is connected to the first connectingportion 21; and - an
elastic body 40 having afirst surface 41 and asecond surface 42, thefirst surface 41 is integrally disposed on the first connectingsurface 22, when the first connectingportion 21 is connected to the second connectingportion 31, thesecond surface 42 is tightly pressed and abutted against the second connectingsurface 32. - In a first embodiment, the first
main body 20 is a cup lid, the firstmain body 20 has an openaccommodating space 23, and the first connectingportion 21 is an internal screw thread disposed in theaccommodating space 23. - The second
main body 30 includes acup member 33 and athroat member 34. Thecup member 33 has aninner wall surface 331 facing an internal cup space, theinner wall surface 331 is concavely provided with aring groove 332. Thethroat member 34 is mounted on a cup rim of thecup member 33, thethroat member 34 has aring rib 341 convexly provided facing theinner wall surface 331, and thering rib 341 is concavo-convexly combined with thering groove 332, so that thethroat member 34 and thecup member 33 are fixedly combined with each other. The second connectingportion 31 is provided on thethroat member 34, the second connectingportion 31 is an external screw thread, the second connectingsurface 32 is located on thecup member 33, and the first connectingsurface 22 surrounds the cup rim of thecup member 33. - The
elastic body 40 is fixed on the firstmain body 20 by heterogeneous integral molding, heterojunction molding, or hot mold opening molding. For the heterogeneous integral molding, a mold is provided, the formed firstmain body 20 is placed in the mold, and then a forming material of theelastic body 40 is poured into the same mold. The forming material of theelastic body 40 is a thermosetting material. After the materials of theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are poured into the mold and heated, theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are fixed and heterogeneously integrally molded. - For the heterojunction molding, the
elastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are formed separately. Theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are made of thermoplastic materials, the moldedelastic body 40 or the molded firstmain body 20 is heated, and because the moldedelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are made of thermoplastic materials, theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 can be joined with each other after heating. After cooling, the two heterogeneous materials are fixed and heterogeneously molded by junction. - For the hot mold opening molding, a mold is provided, and the formed first
main body 20 is placed in the mold. In an example of hot mold opening molding, the firstmain body 20 is made of a thermoplastic material, and then a forming material of theelastic body 40 is poured into the same mold. The forming material of theelastic body 40 is a thermosetting material. After the mold is heated, a portion of theelastic body 40 attached to the firstmain body 20 is gradually fixed. At the same time, the firstmain body 20 is heated to melt gradually and is then fixed with theelastic body 40, so that theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are molded integrally. - The
elastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 are closely integrated into one body. Thefirst surface 41 of theelastic body 40 is integrally provided on the first connectingsurface 22. When the firstmain body 20 covers the secondmain body 30, by screwing to combine the second connectingportion 31 with the first connectingportion 21, thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 abuts against the second connectingsurface 32. Please refer toFIG. 8 , when screwing to reach a tightened state, since thefirst surface 41 of theelastic body 40 is fixedly combined to the first connectingsurface 22, only thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 deforms during tightening. - Preferably, the
elastic body 40 is made of an elastic material, such as silicone rubber. - Preferably, in the first embodiment, the
elastic body 40 is not limited to only capable of integrally disposing on the first connectingsurface 22 with thefirst surface 41, thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 can also be integrally disposed on the second connectingsurface 32. When the firstmain body 20 and the secondmain body 30 are closed with each other, thefirst surface 41 abuts against the first connectingsurface 22 and deforms. - Please refer to
FIG. 10 toFIG. 12 . In a second embodiment, the firstmain body 20 is a cup lid, and the firstmain body 20 has ahead portion 24 and ascrew portion 25 connected to each other. A diameter of thehead portion 24 is greater than that of thescrew portion 25, the first connectingsurface 22 is located between thehead portion 24 and thescrew portion 25. When the firstmain body 20 covers the secondmain body 30, the first connectingsurface 22 faces the second connectingsurface 32, and theelastic body 40 is disposed on the first connectingsurface 22. - The first connecting
portion 21 is provided on thescrew portion 25, in the second embodiment, the first connectingportion 21 is an external screw thread, and the second connectingportion 31 of the secondmain body 30 is an internal screw thread. By screwing the first connectingportion 21 with the second connectingportion 31, thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 is attached on the second connectingsurface 32. Please refer toFIG. 12 , after the firstmain body 20 and the secondmain body 30 are tightly screwed to combine with each other, thefirst surface 41 of theelastic body 40 that is fixed on the first connectingsurface 22 does not deform, only thesecond surface 42 deforms. - Preferably, in the second embodiment, the
elastic body 40 is not limited to only capable of integrally disposing on the first connectingsurface 22 with thefirst surface 41, thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 can also be integrally disposed on the second connectingsurface 32. When the firstmain body 20 and the secondmain body 30 are closed with each other, thefirst surface 41 abuts against the first connectingsurface 22 and deforms. - Please refer to
FIG. 13 . In a last embodiment, the first connectingsurface 22 is inclined to increase an area of the first connectingsurface 22, and theelastic body 40 is integrally provided on the first connectingsurface 22. Since theelastic body 40 completely covers the first connectingsurface 22, compared with the second embodiment, an area of theelastic body 40 in contact with the first connectingsurface 22 is larger in the last embodiment, so that theelastic body 40 is less easily to fall off from the first connectingsurface 22. - More preferably, the second
main body 30 has a convex portion 35 protruding toward theelastic body 40. The convex portion 35 abuts against theelastic body 40 and the second connectingsurface 32, when the firstmain body 20 is screwed to combine with the secondmain body 30, the convex portion 35 is capable of tightly abutting against theelastic body 40, so that when theelastic body 40 is screwed to combine with the firstmain body 20 and the secondmain body 30, theelastic body 40 can not only tightly abut the second connectingsurface 32, but also tightly attach to the convex portion 35, thereby further enhancing a degree of tightness between the firstmain body 20 and the secondmain body 30. - The above is the structural configuration and connection relationship of the present invention in the first embodiment and the second embodiment. The way of usage of the present invention is as follows:
- For the first embodiment, please refer to
FIG. 7 toFIG. 9B , and for the second embodiment, please refer toFIG. 11 toFIG. 12 . When a user covers the firstmain body 20 on the secondmain body 30, two states are presented successively, namely a closed state Q1 and a tight state Q2. - In the closed state Q1, the user first screws the first
main body 20 to combine with the secondmain body 30 to attach thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 to the second connectingsurface 32, as shown in the state ofFIG. 7 andFIG. 9A . - When the user further tightens the first
main body 20 by screwing, the first connectingsurface 22 is closer to the second connectingsurface 32, so that it is in the tight state Q2. When in the tight state Q2, since theelastic body 40 is made of a flexible material, thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 is deformed by pressing and turning force of the second connectingsurface 32, and then theelastic body 40 is tightly attached to the second connectingsurface 32 according to a shape of the second connectingsurface 32 so as to achieve the effect of preventing water leakage. In particular, because thefirst surface 41 of theelastic body 40 is fixed on the first connectingsurface 22, thefirst surface 41 of theelastic body 40 will not be deformed by the firstmain body 20 and the secondmain body 30 being screwed to combined with each other to present the state shown inFIGS. 8 and 9B . Since only thesecond surface 42 of theelastic body 40 deforms in the tight state Q2, and theelastic body 40 does not excessively deforms in the tight state Q2, thereby reducing twist or damage of theelastic body 40 due to screwing. - More preferably, since the
elastic body 40 is fixed on the firstmain body 20 by heterogeneous integral molding, heterojunction molding, or hot mold opening molding, a gap does not form between theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20, and therefore liquid does not permeate between theelastic body 40 and the firstmain body 20 during use, which not only effectively prevents bacteria and dirt from accumulating, but also does not produce bad smell even after long period of use. - The foregoing description of the preferred embodiments is a detailed description of the technical features of the present invention, however, those of ordinary skill in the art can of course change and modify the present invention without departing from the spirit and principles of the present invention. Simple modifications or alterations may be made without departing from the scope defined by the appended claims of the present invention.
