Thefirst puff holder 15 andsecond puff holder 25 may be adapted to receive the selected shape of thefirst puff 14 orsecond puff 24. The secondcosmetic composition tray 29 includes a secondtray latching member 27 which engages with the second cosmeticcomposition tray latch 38 to preferably seal the secondcosmetic composition 28 when closed. Thesecond base 40 includes a second interior lateralbase latching member 37, third frontbase latching member 39, fourth frontbase latching member 42 and second lateralbase latching member 41 therein. Each of the latching members, herein, may comprise magnetic and/or mechanical latching means known in the art. It should be appreciated that side-by-side and stacked configurations of thefirst container 1 and thesecond container 2 may connect using magnets. Asecond recess 44 may be provided in thesecond base 40 to facilitate opening thesecond lid 20. - When configured side-by-side, according to any of
FIGS. 1-4 , the first interior lateralbase latching member 35 and second interior lateralbase latching member 37, shown inFIG. 5 , may engage with one another via the first interiorlateral wall 45 and second interiorlateral wall 46, shown inFIG. 3 , to provide additional stability to this open configuration. -
FIG. 6 shows thefirst container 1 andsecond container 2 when the units are closed about thelateral pivot member 47. In this position, thefirst container 1 andsecond container 2 are stacked upon one another. According to this position, thefirst lid 10 sits atop thefirst base 34 which, in turn, sits atop thesecond base 40 and thesecond lid 20. Thefirst recess 36 andsecond recess 44 are visible in this view as well. -
FIG. 7 shows the same configuration asFIG. 6 . but depicts thefirst lid 10 andfirst puff tray 16 in their respective open positions. This configuration provides a more mobile or “on-the-go” format for a user. This form factor is more easily held in a user's hand than the configuration ofFIG. 1 , for example.FIG. 7 shows thefirst lid 10 in an open position, presenting thefirst mirror 13 for the user. Thefirst puff 14 is received by thefirst puff holder 15, which is supported by thefirst puff tray 16. The firstcosmetic composition 18 is housed in thefirst base 34. According to this configuration, thefirst base 34 is stacked atop thesecond base 40 andsecond lid 20 as they are collapsed about thelateral pivot member 47. Thefirst container 1 may provide afirst recess 36, and thesecond container 2 may provide asecond recess 44. -
FIG. 8 shows thefirst container 1 andsecond container 2 in closed positions as they rotate about thelateral pivot member 47. According to one configuration, thelateral pivot angle 48 may achieve about 180°, relative to thefirst base 34 andsecond base 40, to achieve the configuration according toFIG. 4 , for example. According to an alternate configuration, thelateral pivot angle 48 may be about 0° relative to thefirst base 34 andsecond base 40, to achieve the configuration according toFIG. 6 , for example.FIG. 8 shows thefirst lid 10 closed against thefirst base 34, which shows itsfirst recess 36 for facilitating opening thefirst lid 10. Thesecond lid 20 is closed against thesecond base 40, which shows itssecond recess 44. -
FIG. 9 shows thefirst container 1 andsecond container 2 with each respectivefirst lid 10 andsecond lid 20 in open positions. Thefirst lid 10 andsecond lid 20 are attached to their respectivefirst base 34 andsecond base 40 via the respective firstrear pivot member 11 and secondrear pivot member 21. The firstrear pivot member 11 and secondrear pivot member 21 facilitate opening of thefirst lid 10 andsecond lid 20 relative to thefirst base 34 andsecond base 40. As shown, the first exteriorlateral wall 51 and second exteriorlateral wall 52 include the first lateralbase latching member 31 and second lateralbase latching member 41 shown inFIG. 5 .FIG. 9 shows that when the first exteriorlateral wall 51 and second exteriorlateral wall 52 meet in a closed position, as shown inFIG. 6 , for example, the first lateralbase latching member 31 and second lateralbase latching member 41 may engage to stabilize a closed configuration. - It should be appreciated that a cosmetic accessory may include at least two cosmetic containers that may provide a two-in-one package and/or delivery system.
