IMPROVEMENT IN MARSH-SHOES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 201,882, dated April 2, 1878; application filed May 22, 1877.
. To all whom it may concerni- Be it known that I, ROBERT K. JORDAN, of Oakland, in the county of Alameda and State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Horseshoes for Marshy Ground, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the letters marked thereon.
Figure 1 is an under plan view; Fig. 2, an upper plan view; Fig. 3, an edge view; and Fig. 4 is a view of the same attached to a horses foot.
This invention has relation to that class of shoes for horses to prevent them from sinking into marsh or tule ground; and the invention consists in the peculiar construction of such shoes, as will be hereinafter described, and subsequently pointed out in the claim.
