  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF SM-1
  • This scope mount is made of aircraft grade aluminum and can be anodized any color wanted. It is light weight and is user friendly. On the left side of this mount, there are 3 screw holes that will line up on the left side of the receiver and they will need to be drilled and tapped to fit also on the left side will be 2 slots that will allow the stabilizer bar to attach to the mount, the stabilizer bar will wrap over the receiver and fit snugly into the stock. The stock whether it is wood or an archangel stock will need a small amount filed down to accommodate the end of the bar. The top of the mount contains a full picatinny rail that will align straight over the bore and you will be able to use any scope or red dot sight that you like to use. The stabilizer bar will be attached and fitted first to the receiver and then the mount will attach to the stabilizer bar with the 2 screws and then you will align the mount over the bore and mark the 3 screws that will need to be drilled and tapped. Depending on the bend of your bolt you may need to change your bolt for a bent bolt to accommodate the mount. When the mount is attached you can add any scope you like using the full picatinny rail on top. This mount will add eye relief to the user and will increase accuracy and stability to your rifle.

Claims (1)

1. This scope mount is made of aircraft aluminum and mounts to the receiver of the rifle with 3 screws and has a stabilizer bar that attaches to the mount with 2 screws and holds the mount firmly attached to the rifle, which creates more stability and more accuracy. The top of the mount has a full picatinny rail that will allow for any scope ring or red dot sight to be attached and will put the scope or sight directly over the bore. This mount attaches to the split receiver with the mount on one side and the stabilizer on the other side which holds firmly. This mount does not affect the sights that come on the rifle and only a small amount of the stock will need to be removed to accommodate the stabilizer bar to wrap around the receiver, you will not be able to see the small amount filed down for the stabilizer. A bent bolt may be needed depending on your rifle but this only adds to the ease of use with the position of the bolt. This mount will add to your accuracy and stability with the mount not moving or wobbling.
