Abstract
A suitcase pocket display device for displaying items in a suitcase pocket includes a suitcase that has a housing. A pocket comprising a panel is coupled to the housing. An opening is positioned in the panel proximate to a top edge of the panel. A first coupler is coupled to the panel on an upper perimeter of the opening. A second coupler that is complimentary to the first coupler is coupled to the panel on a lower perimeter of the opening. A window is positioned in the panel and a display item is positioned in the pocket.
Description
- The disclosure relates to display devices and more particularly pertains to a new display device for displaying items in a suitcase pocket.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a suitcase that has a housing.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is an isometric projection view of a suitcase pocket display device according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new display device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 4 , the suitcasepocket display device 10 generally comprisessuitcase 12 having ahousing 14 that defines aninternal space 16. A plurality ofdividers 18 is positioned in theinternal space 16 and coupled to thehousing 14, defining a plurality ofcompartments 20 within theinternal space 16. A plurality ofclosures 22 is coupled to thehousing 14. One of each of the plurality ofclosures 22 is positioned proximate to a respective one of the plurality ofcompartments 20. Preferably, the plurality ofclosures 22 is a plurality ofzippers 24. Ahandle 26 is positioned on aback 28 of thehousing 14. Thehandle 26 comprises a pair ofrods 30 and acenterpiece 32. Each of the pair ofrods 30 has afirst end 34 and asecond end 36. Thefirst ends 34 are coupled to theback 28 and the second ends are coupled to thecenterpiece 32. Preferably, the pair ofrods 30 is a plurality ofnested sections 38, such that the pair ofrods 30 is telescopic. A plurality ofrollers 40 is coupled to abottom 42 of thehousing 14. The plurality ofrollers 40 comprises a plurality ofwheels 42. Preferably, the plurality ofwheels 42 comprises four wheels. - A
pocket 44 that comprises apanel 46 is coupled to thehousing 14. Thepanel 46 may be coupled to afront 48 of thehousing 14. Thepanel 46 may be coupled to theback 28 of thehousing 14. Thepanel 46 may be rectangular. Anopening 50 is positioned in thepanel 46 proximate to atop edge 52 of thepanel 46. Afirst coupler 54 is coupled to thepanel 46 on anupper perimeter 56 of the opening 50. Asecond coupler 58 that is complimentary to thefirst coupler 54 is coupled to thepanel 46 on alower perimeter 60 of the opening 50. Thefirst coupler 54 and thesecond coupler 58 may comprise a zipper-type closure 62 or be selected from the group ofcouplers 64 consisting of Velcro-type hook and Velcro-type loop closures. Awindow 66 is positioned in thepanel 46. Thewindow 66 is clear and flexible. Adisplay item 68 is positioned in thepocket 44. Thedisplay item 68 comprises anadvertisement 70 or adigital screen 72. Thedigital screen 72 may comprise aliquid crystal display 74. Thedigital screen 72 has acommunicator 76 that is capable of receiving digital images to project on thedigital screen 72. - In use, the
opening 50 is positioned in thepanel 46 such that the user can insert thedisplay item 68 into thepocket 44 and thedisplay item 68 is visible through thewindow 66, and thefirst coupler 54 is positioned to engage thesecond coupler 58 to secure thedisplay item 68 in thepocket 44. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
