Definitions
- the invention relates to a rifle stock.
- the invention furthermore relates to a rifle having such a rifle stock.
- a rifle stock which contains, as bedding for the receiver and/or barrel, a support part attached in the rifle stock.
- the support part comprises on the top side a support area for the support of the receiver and on its bottom area a profiling for the positive-fitting holding of the support part in the rifle stock.
- the support part is inserted into a corresponding recess on the top side of the rifle stock, and pulled inward by an attachment screw from beneath into the recess, and thus braced against the rifle stock.
- a magazine frame is used, which is inserted into a deepening on the bottom side of the rifle stock. Due to various weather conditions, it is possible, however, for the rifle stock to expand or shrink, as a result of which tensioning or a clearance can occur between the rifle stock and the support part, and resulting adverse effects on the accuracy and the firing capacity can occur.
- An embodiment provides a rifle stock and a rifle having such a rifle stock, which allow a bedding of a receiver and/or a barrel, which is accurate in terms of position and not influenced by changes of the rifle stock.
- the support part is held via profiling not only with a positive-fitting connection in the rifle stock, but it is also connected undetachably by an adhesive connection to the rifle stock.
- the profiling on the support part engages at the time of the installation in the shaft which is made, for example, of wood or plastic, and ensures an additional securing and positive-fitting connection.
- lateral spread is clearly reduced, and an optimized system bedding and barrel securing can be achieved for a tension-free mounting in the shaft.
- the support part is inserted into a recess of the rifle stock and glued into the latter.
- This recess here can be adapted to the outer contour of the support part, so that an additional positive-fitting holding of the support part in the shaft is achieved.
- the receiver and/or the barrel is (are) advantageously attached via an attachment screw to the support part.
- the attachment screw can comprise a threaded rod for engagement in a threaded bore in the receiver and a clamping surface for application against the lower application surface of the support part.
- the attachment screw can comprise a threaded bore for a screw for the attachment of a magazine frame.
- the profiling on the bottom side of the receiver can be formed by downward projecting guide rails which are preferably designed for pressing into the shaft.
- the guide rails that extend, for example, in the longitudinal direction of the support part, during the installation of the support part, push into the shaft and ensure a play-free lateral guidance. Due to the positive-fitting engagement of the guide rails in the shaft, it is also possible to achieve, without expensive preliminary work on the shaft, an offset-free and precisely repeatable connection between shaft and receiver for the precise arrangement of the receiver and/or barrel.
- the preferably wedge-shaped guide rails have a cross section that converges to a tip. Due to this special shape, the guide rails press into the shaft made, for example, of wood or plastic, as a result of which a play-free positive-fitting connection is formed in an easy way.
- the support area can be designed as a prism support with opposite slanted inner support surfaces on two mutually separated support rails.
- the support area can also be designed as a half shell or the like.
- the support area can also comprise a shape adapted to the outer contour of the sleeve head or to another portion of the receiver.
- On the support area of the support part one or more engagement elements for a positive-fitting engagement in the barrel can be arranged.
- FIG. 1 shows a portion of a repeater with barrel, shaft, receiver or system and of a device for bedding the receiver in the shaft in longitudinal section;
- FIG. 2 shows a cross section along line A-A of FIG. 1 ;
- FIG. 3 shows the device for bedding the receiver in a perspective view from above
- FIG. 4 shows the device for bedding the receiver in a perspective view from below.
- FIG. 1 a portion of a repeater with a barrel 1 , a rifle stock 2 , a system or receiver 3 and of a device 4 for bedding the system or receiver 3 in the rifle stock 2 are shown.
- the system or receiver 3 designed as a chamber sleeve contains a sleeve head 5 in which the rear end of the barrel 1 provided with a chamber 6 and latching elements 7 is arranged.
- the device 4 for bedding the receiver 3 in the rifle stock 2 contains a substantially cubic support part 8 , which is inserted into a corresponding recess 9 of the rifle stock 2 , and which is connected by gluing undetachably to the rifle stock 2 .
- the device 4 in addition contains two engagement elements 10 , which engage in a positive-fitting manner in corresponding recesses 11 on the bottom side of the barrel 1 .
- the engagement elements 10 are designed as pins, which are inserted into two bores 12 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 in the support part 8 .
- the support part 8 furthermore contains a through-hole 13 arranged between the two bores 12 for an attachment screw 14 by means of which the receiver 3 is secured to the support part 8 .
- the through-hole 13 is designed as a screw hole bore having a lower support surface 15 for a clamping surface 16 of the attachment screw 14 .
- FIG. 4 one can also see that, on the bottom side of the support part 8 , several guide rails 17 extending in the longitudinal direction of the support part 8 and in the longitudinal direction of the rifle stock 2 and having a wedge-shaped cross section are arranged.
- the guide rails 17 press in particular due to the special wedge shape at the time of installation into the rifle stock 2 made, for example, of wood or plastic, as a result of which, in addition to the adhesive connection, a positive-fitting connection secured against lateral movement can be achieved between the support part 8 and the rifle stock 2 .
- the support part 8 on its top side contains a lowered rear support area 18 for the support of the hollow cylindrical sleeve head 5 of the system or receiver 3 .
- the support area 18 for the support of the sleeve head 5 in the depicted embodiment, is designed as a prism support with two opposite slanted inner support surfaces 19 .
- the support area 18 could, however, also be designed as a half shell or the like. In the case of a noncylindrical sleeve head, the support area can also have a shape adapted to the outer contour of the sleeve head.
- On the top side of the support part 8 furthermore, an elevated front bracing area 20 for the barrel 1 is provided.
- the front bracing area 20 is designed as a semi-shell.
- the attachment screw 14 By means of the attachment screw 14 , the sleeve head 5 is secured to the support part 8 glued into the rifle stock 2 .
- the attachment screw 14 which is applied with the ring-shaped clamping surface 16 on the lower application surface 15 of the support part 8 , is screwed with an upper threaded rod into a threaded bore 21 on the bottom side of the sleeve head 5 and it engages with its upper end in a recess 22 of the barrel 2 .
- the attachment screw 14 contains, in its externally hexagonal bottom part, a threaded bore 23 for a screw 24 , by means of which a front part of a magazine frame 25 is attached in a lower recess 26 of the rifle stock 2 .
- the invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment example.
