Abstract

A striking trainer is provided. The trainer includes a body and at least one first striking assembly. The first striking assembly further comprises an arm, a pivoting structure and a striking portion. The arm is assembled to the body. The pivoting structure has a first pivoting portion and a second pivoting portion. The arm has the first pivoting portion pivotally connected thereto and defines a first pivoting shaft thereon, so that the first pivoting portion is rotatable relative to the arm via the first pivoting shaft. The striking portion is pivotally connected to the second pivoting portion. A second pivoting shaft is defined on the second pivoting portion, so that the striking portion is rotatable relative to the second pivoting portion via the second pivoting shaft. Thus, the trainer provides a widely angle and range adjusting function from two different directions.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a striking trainer.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • A conventional striking apparatus comprises a rod connected to a base. A top end of the rod has a striking member assembled thereon, so that an exerciser could strike the striking member for training. Two elastic tubes are respectively assembled at two ends of the rod. One elastic tube is connected between the striking member and the rod, and the other elastic tube is connected between the base and the rod. The rod comprises two sliding members. Each sliding member could slide into the corresponding elastic tube so as to limit a swing range between the rod and the striking member. Under above arrangement, the exerciser could adjust a sliding distance between the elastic tube and the sliding member for adjusting the swing range between the striking member and the rod.
  • However, the conventional striking apparatus could only provide a swing range adjusting function, but the exerciser could not adjust a pivoting range between the striking member and the rod, so that the conventional striking apparatus does not provide multiple simulating modes for the exerciser to train himself.
  • The present invention is, therefore, arisen to obviate or at least mitigate the above mentioned disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a striking trainer, in which the striking trainer could provide a pivoting range adjusting function for training.
  • To achieve the above and other objects, a striking trainer is provided. The trainer includes a body and at least one first striking assembly. A datum is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the body. The first striking assembly further comprises an arm, a pivoting structure and a striking portion. One end of the arm is assembled to the body. The pivoting structure has a first pivoting portion and a second pivoting portion. The arm has the first pivoting portion pivotally connected thereto and defines a first pivoting shaft thereon, so that the first pivoting portion is rotatable relative to the arm via the first pivoting shaft so as to rotate the pivoting structure relative to the first pivoting shaft. The striking portion is pivotally connected to the second pivoting portion. A second pivoting shaft is defined on the second pivoting portion, so that the striking portion is rotatable relative to the second pivoting portion via the second pivoting shaft so as to rotate the striking portion relative to the pivoting structure. The first pivoting shaft is not parallel to the second pivoting shaft and the datum.
  • Thus, an exerciser could adjust the striking portion to pivot relative to the arm for providing a widely angle and range adjusting function from two different directions, so that the trainer provides multiple simulating modes for the exerciser to train himself.
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment(s) in accordance with the present invention.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • FIGS. 1-2 show a striking trainer according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The trainer includes a body 1 and at least one first striking assembly. The body 1 further comprises a rod member 11, a base 12 and a sleeve member 13. One end of the rod member 11 is connected to the base 12. The rod member 11 is sleeved by the sleeve member 13. A datum is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the body 1. Clearly, the longitudinal direction of the body 1 is equal to an extending direction of the rod member 11 and the datum is the ground level. The rod member 11 is telescopic and comprises a first portion 111, a second portion 112 sleeved by the first portion 111, and a fastener 113. The first portion 111 is connected to the base 12, and the second portion 112 is sleeved by the first portion 111. The first portion 111 has at least one first through hole, and the second portion 112 has a plurality of second through holes. The second through holes are axially arranged along the second portion 112. The fastener 113 is disposed through the first through hole and secured in one of the second through holes, so that an exerciser could adjust a length of the rod member 11 via screwing the fastener 113 to the corresponding second through holes of the second portion 112. In another embodiment, the second through holes are opened on the first portion 111 therethrough, and the first through hole is opened on the second portion 112 therethrough; the fastener 113 is disposed through the first through hole and secured in one of the second through holes so that the exerciser can adjust the length of the rod member 11. At least one connecting portion 131 is assembled to the sleeve member 13. In the present embodiment, two connecting portions 131 are respectively assembled to two lateral sides of the sleeve member 13. The connecting portion 131 has a screw portion defined thereon for being screwed to the first striking assembly.
  • The trainer comprises a plurality of first striking assemblies, and the first striking assemblies are respectively assembled at different predefined positions of the body 1. Each striking assembly comprises an arm 21, a pivoting structure 22 and a striking portion 23. One end of the arm 21 is assembled to the body 1. Preferably, the arm 21 is a spiral-shaped spring, and one end of the arm 21 is screwed to the connecting portions 131 of the sleeve member 13. In the present embodiment, an extending direction of the arm 21 is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body 1, but the arm 21 would not be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body 1 in another embodiment.
  • The pivoting structure 22 has a first pivoting portion 221 and a second pivoting portion 222. The pivoting structure 22 is formed as an integral whole. The first pivoting portion 221 and the second pivoting portion 222 are respectively disposed at two ends of the pivoting structure 22. The first pivoting portion 221 is pivotally connected to another end of the arm 21. The arm 21 has a third pivoting portion 211 defined at another end thereof. The first pivoting portion 221 is pivotally connected to the third pivoting portion 211 of the arm 21 and defines a first pivoting shaft. The first pivoting portion 221 is rotatable relative to the third pivoting portion 211 of the arm 21 via the first pivoting shaft so as to rotate the pivoting structure 22 relative to the arm 21 via the first pivoting shaft. The pivoting structure 22 is tightly connected to the arm 21 via screwing a screw member through the first pivoting portion 221 and the third pivoting portion 211. The first pivoting portion 221 is circle-shaped. A shape of the third pivoting portion 211 corresponds to the first pivoting portion 221. A plurality of teeth is formed on a top side of the third pivoting portion 211 of the arm 21 facing the first pivoting portion 221. A plurality of teeth is formed on a bottom side of the first pivoting portion 221 of the pivoting structure 22 facing the arm, so that the third pivoting portion 211 of the arm 21 is engaged with the first pivoting portion 221 of the pivoting structure 22 (the teeth of the first pivoting portion 221 is not shown).
  • The exerciser could strike the striking portion 23 for training One end of the striking portion 23 is pivotally connected to the second pivoting portion 222. One end of the striking portion 23, which is close to the second pivoting portion 222, is bent. Clearly, one end of the striking portion 23 has a fourth pivoting portion 231 defined thereon. The fourth pivoting portion 231 of the striking portion 23 is pivotally connected to the second pivoting portion 222. A second pivoting shaft is defined by the second pivoting portion 222. The striking portion 23 is rotatable relative to the second pivoting portion 222 via the second pivoting shaft so as to rotate the striking portion 23 relative to the pivoting structure 22. The striking portion 23 is tightly connected to the pivoting structure 22 via screwing a further screw member through the second pivoting portion 222 and the fourth pivoting portion 231. The second pivoting portion 222 is circle-shaped. A shape of the fourth pivoting portion 231 corresponds to the second pivoting portion 222. A plurality of teeth is formed on a front side of the second pivoting portion 222 facing fourth pivoting portion 231 of the striking portion 23. A plurality of teeth is formed on a rear side of the fourth pivoting portion 231 facing the second pivoting portion 222 so that the fourth pivoting portion 231 is firmly engaged with the second pivoting portion 222 via said teeth (the teeth of the fourth pivoting portion 231 is not shown). Furthermore, the arm 21 is elastic (such as a spring), so that the arm 21 could be elastically flexed and recovered via a recovery force thereof, when the exerciser strikes the striking portion 23.
  • The first pivoting shaft is not parallel to the second pivoting shaft and the datum (the datum is the ground level). In the present embodiment, the first pivoting shaft is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the body 1. Clearly, the first pivoting shaft is parallel to the extending direction of the rod member 11 and is perpendicular to the ground level. The second pivoting shaft is perpendicular to the first pivoting shaft and is parallel to the ground level.
  • Furthermore, a second striking assembly is assembled to a top end of the rod member 11. The second striking assembly comprises a further arm 31 and a further striking portion 32. The further arm 31 is a spiral spring. One end of the further arm 31 is connected to the rod member 11, and another end of the further arm 31 is connected to the further striking portion 32, so that the exerciser could strike the further striking portion 32 for training. The further arm 31 is elastic, so that the further arm 31 could be elastically flexed and recovered via a recovery force thereof, when the exerciser strikes the further striking portion 32.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-5, the exerciser rotates the first pivoting portion 221 of the pivoting structure 22 relative to the third pivoting portion 211 of the arm 21 so that the striking portion 23 is rotated by said rotation of the first pivoting portion 221, relative to a plane which is parallel to the ground level (as shown in FIGS. 2-3). Moreover, the exerciser could rotate the fourth pivoting portion 231 of the striking portion 23 relative to the second pivoting portion 222 of the pivoting structure 22 so that the striking portion 23 is rotatable via said rotation of the fourth pivoting portion 231 , relative to another plane which is perpendicular to the ground level. Therefore, the present trainer is adjustable to simulate various targets for the exerciser. The exerciser could adjust a height of the rod member 11 to simulate a stature of an imaginary enemy, and adjust said pivoting portions of the present trainer so as to simulate different defense postures of the imaginary enemy. Consequently, the exerciser would efficiently get training.
  • Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims (8)

What is claimed is:
1. A striking trainer comprising:
a body, a datum being perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the body;
at least one first striking assembly further comprising an arm, a pivoting structure and a striking portion, one end of the arm assembled to the body, the pivoting structure having a first pivoting portion and a second pivoting portion, another end of the arm pivotally connected to the first pivoting portion, the first pivoting portion defining a first pivoting shaft, the first pivoting portion being rotatable relative to the arm via the first pivoting shaft so as to rotate the pivoting structure relative to the first pivoting shaft, one end of the striking portion pivotally connected to the second pivoting portion, a second pivoting shaft defined by the second pivoting portion, the striking portion being rotatable relative to the second pivoting portion via the second pivoting shaft so as to rotate the striking portion relative to the pivoting structure, the first pivoting shaft being not parallel to the second pivoting shaft and the datum.
2. The striking trainer as claimed in claim 1, wherein an extending direction of the arm is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body; the first pivoting shaft is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the body; the second pivoting shaft is perpendicular to the first pivoting shaft.
3. The striking trainer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pivoting structure is formed as an integral body; the first pivoting portion and the second pivoting portion are respectively disposed at two ends of the pivoting structure.

The striking trainer as claimed in claim 1, wherein a top side of the arm facing the first pivoting portion is formed with a plurality of teeth; a bottom side of the first pivoting portion facing the arm is formed with a plurality of teeth, wherein the teeth of the arm engage with the teeth of the first pivoting portion; a front side of the second pivoting portion facing the striking portion is formed with a plurality of teeth; a rear side of the striking portion facing the second pivoting portion is formed with a plurality of teeth wherein the teeth of the striking portion engage with the teeth of the second pivoting portion.
5. The striking trainer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the body further comprises a rod member, a base and a sleeve member; one end of the rod member is connected to the base; the rod member is sleeved by the sleeve member; at least one connecting portion is assembled to the sleeve member;
the first striking assembly is connected to the connecting portion via the arm; a second striking assembly is assembled to another end of the rod member.
6. The striking trainer as claimed in claim 5, wherein the connecting portion has a screw portion defined thereon; the arm of the first striking assembly is screwed to the screw portion of the connecting portion.
7. The striking trainer as claimed in claim 1, wherein one end of the striking portion, which is close to the second pivoting portion, is bent.
8. The striking trainer as claimed in claim 5, wherein the rod member is telescopic; the rod member comprises a first portion, a second portion sleeved to the first portion, and a fastener; the first portion has at least one first through hole; the second portion has a plurality of second through holes; the fastener is disposed through the first through hole and secured in one of the second through holes.
