Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a bare hand fighting practice device that includes a post with a plurality of false arms extending therefrom, each false arm includes pivotal joints and springs and a soft sleeve encloses the springs and the pivotal joints. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • A conventional bare [0002] hand fighting device 10 is shown in FIG. 1 and generally includes a post 12 and a plurality of false arms 11 extend radially outward from the post 12. The false arms 11 extend in different orientations so that the user may treat these false arms 11 as arms of the persons to fight with and impacts or hits the false arms 11 by the user's hands or feet. However, the false arms 11 are solid sticks so that they do not have cushion feature and the impact between the user's hands or feet could hurt the user. Besides, the height of these false arms cannot be adjusted so that the users have different height have to prepare different practice devices. Besides, the false arms 11 are solid and cannot response to the impact by the user's limbs so that the user cannot obtain a real reaction from the person to fight with.
  • The present invention intends to provide a bare hand fighting practice device that has false arms having two pivotal joints and springs so as to react to the user by a response close to real fighting action. [0003]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a bare hand fighting device which comprises a post having at least one base member connected thereto and the at least one base member has a tube extending therefrom. A first pivotal joint has a first end inserted in the tube of the at least one base member and a second end of the first pivotal joint is connected to a first end of a spring. An end member is connected to a second end of the spring. A soft sleeve is mounted to the first pivotal joint, the spring and the end member. [0004]
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a practice device for practicing fighting activities and the false arms of the device is pivotable and has soft touch. [0005]
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.[0006]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show a conventional bare hand fighting practice device; [0007]
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded view to show a bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention; [0008]
  • FIG. 3 is a cross sectional side view to show the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention; [0009]
  • FIG. 4 is a cross sectional end view to show the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention, and [0010]
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view to show the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention.[0011]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. [0012] 2 to 5, the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention comprises a post 21 fixed to the ground and having two base members 20 connected thereto, each base member 20 is connected to a false arm. Each of the base members 20 has a tube extending therefrom. A first pivotal joint 30 has a first end inserted in the tube of each of the base members 20 and a second end of the first pivotal joint 30 is connected to a first end of a spring 40. Each of the pivotal joints 30 includes a first member 31 and a second member 310, the first member 31 is connected to the tube and the second member 310 is connected to the spring 40. The first member 31 and the second member 310 have two respective disks which are overlapped and connected by a bolt 32 extending through the two disks.
  • A second [0013] pivotal joint 300 has the same structure as that of the first pivotal joint 30 and has a first end thereof connected to a second end of the spring 40 and a second end of the second pivotal joint 300 is connected to the other spring 400. An end member 41 is connected to the other end of the spring 400.
  • A [0014] soft sleeve 50 is mounted to the first pivotal joint 30, the spring 40, the second pivotal joint 300, the spring 400, and the end member 41 to form the false arm. Two bolts 24 extend through holes 23 defined through the tube of the base member 20 and contact the first member 31 of the first pivotal joint 30 so as to fixed the first member 31.
  • The [0015] springs 40, 400 make the false arms to bounce back when the user hits them and the two pivotal joints 30, 300 allow the false arms to be pivoted or bent so that the false arms behave like real human arms.
  • While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. [0016]
