Abstract
A bare hand fighting device includes a post having a plurality of base members connected thereto and the each base member has a tube extending therefrom so as to be connected to a pivotal joint. A spring is connected to the pivotal joint and the other end of the pivotal joint is connected to the other spring. An end member is connected to the other spring. A soft sleeve is mounted to the two pivotal joints and the two springs.
Description
- The present invention relates to a bare hand fighting practice device that includes a post with a plurality of false arms extending therefrom, each false arm includes pivotal joints and springs and a soft sleeve encloses the springs and the pivotal joints.
- A conventional bare
hand fighting device 10 is shown in FIG. 1 and generally includes apost 12 and a plurality offalse arms 11 extend radially outward from thepost 12. Thefalse arms 11 extend in different orientations so that the user may treat thesefalse arms 11 as arms of the persons to fight with and impacts or hits thefalse arms 11 by the user's hands or feet. However, thefalse arms 11 are solid sticks so that they do not have cushion feature and the impact between the user's hands or feet could hurt the user. Besides, the height of these false arms cannot be adjusted so that the users have different height have to prepare different practice devices. Besides, thefalse arms 11 are solid and cannot response to the impact by the user's limbs so that the user cannot obtain a real reaction from the person to fight with. - The present invention intends to provide a bare hand fighting practice device that has false arms having two pivotal joints and springs so as to react to the user by a response close to real fighting action.
- In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a bare hand fighting device which comprises a post having at least one base member connected thereto and the at least one base member has a tube extending therefrom. A first pivotal joint has a first end inserted in the tube of the at least one base member and a second end of the first pivotal joint is connected to a first end of a spring. An end member is connected to a second end of the spring. A soft sleeve is mounted to the first pivotal joint, the spring and the end member.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide a practice device for practicing fighting activities and the false arms of the device is pivotable and has soft touch.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show a conventional bare hand fighting practice device;
- FIG. 2 is an exploded view to show a bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention;
- FIG. 3 is a cross sectional side view to show the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention;
- FIG. 4 is a cross sectional end view to show the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention, and
- FIG. 5 is a perspective view to show the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention.
- Referring to FIGS.2 to 5, the bare hand fighting practice device of the present invention comprises a
post 21 fixed to the ground and having twobase members 20 connected thereto, eachbase member 20 is connected to a false arm. Each of thebase members 20 has a tube extending therefrom. A firstpivotal joint 30 has a first end inserted in the tube of each of thebase members 20 and a second end of the firstpivotal joint 30 is connected to a first end of aspring 40. Each of thepivotal joints 30 includes afirst member 31 and asecond member 310, thefirst member 31 is connected to the tube and thesecond member 310 is connected to thespring 40. Thefirst member 31 and thesecond member 310 have two respective disks which are overlapped and connected by abolt 32 extending through the two disks. - A second
pivotal joint 300 has the same structure as that of the firstpivotal joint 30 and has a first end thereof connected to a second end of thespring 40 and a second end of the secondpivotal joint 300 is connected to theother spring 400. Anend member 41 is connected to the other end of thespring 400. - A
soft sleeve 50 is mounted to the firstpivotal joint 30, thespring 40, the secondpivotal joint 300, thespring 400, and theend member 41 to form the false arm. Twobolts 24 extend throughholes 23 defined through the tube of thebase member 20 and contact thefirst member 31 of the firstpivotal joint 30 so as to fixed thefirst member 31. - The
springs pivotal joints - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
