Description
- The present invention relates to a drainage canal structure, and in particular to a prefabrication type drainage canal structure which makes it possible to prevent a transformation and disengagement of a drainage canal in such a way that a plurality of drainage canal bodies each equipped with a waveform reinforcing unit are assembled in series, and a protection net is arranged over the drainage canal bodies which are buried underground, and a side reinforcing unit is installed into the ground so that a bottom foundation can be expanded, and the drainage canal bodies can be fixed in place on the ground. Trees, gravels, etc. can be prevented from penetrating into the drainage canal bodies thanks to the protection net. The drainage canal structure with an increased self-weight can be provided, which can keep it in place. Work and construction time can be saved because the drainage canal structure can be manufactured on the spot.
- Drainage canals are installed in roads, mountains, rivers, etc. or in an agricultural drainage canal, an industrial complex, a housing complex, etc. in order to guide the flows of rain water and drainage water.
- More specifically, the above mentioned drainage canals are installed at a bottom of a mountain ridge, a water guide canal, a rain water guide canal, etc. in an attempt to guide rain water or draining water.
- The above mentioned drainage canals can be manufactured in a shape of blocks each with a certain length in such a way to cast concrete on the spot (hereinafter referred to a casting work on the spot) or to use a prefabricated concrete block or a synthetic resin.
- In most of drainage canals, water is guided to flow inwards over the side walls of the drainage canals; however the water, sometimes, does not flow into the drainage canals due in part to the difference in the physical properties between the concrete and the synthetic resin.
- If water flows long through the drainage canals, the synthetic resin may decompose and may be broken because the drainage canals made from the synthetic resin is directly exposed to sunshine.
- Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a prefabrication type drainage canal structure which is invented so as to resolve the problems occurred when the conventional drainage canals heave due to rain water or the original ground moves away, and which makes it possible to prevent the loss of the original ground on which the drainage canals are constructed and to prevent the loss of the installed drainage canal structure. The drainage canal structure can be manufactured on the spot, and a simplified manufacture procedure and a stable assembling structure can be obtained in the present invention.
- To achieve the above objects, there is provided a prefabrication type drainage canal structure equipped with a drainage canal body with a channel shaped vertical cross section and installed at a drainage carnal formed on the ground of a cutting area, which comprises a plurality of protrusion type waveform reinforcing units which are formed at regular intervals on at least one of an outer surface, an inner surface and both the inner and outer surfaces of the drainage canal body, a plurality of reinforcing units which are installed in a row at regular intervals traversing the interior of the drainage canal body, and a plurality of through holes which are formed at regular intervals at the tops of both sides of the drainage canal body.
- The present invention is directed to a drainage canal structure whose transportation and installation work can be easy, and it can be easily assembled on the spot, and a transformation due to the pressure of surrounding soil can be prevented by forming a waveform reinforcing unit on an outer surface of a drainage canal body. When a drainage canal structure is installed at the drainage canal which is disposed underground, it is possible to prevent gravels from entering the drainage canal body by providing a protection net, thus preventing the clogging of the drainage canal body. The whole weight of the drainage canal structure can be increased by filling with soil the empty space from the outer tops of the drainage canals to the bottoms of the drainage canals including an assistant water way for thereby preventing the transformation and heaving of the drainage canals.
- In addition, an eco-corridor for the sake of wild animals can be secured because a protection net is provided over the tops of the drainage canals, so the wild animals are not allowed to enter the drainage canal body, which leads to protection of wild animals.
- The present invention will become better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given only by way of illustration and thus are not limitative of the present invention, wherein;

- The drainage canal structure according to the present invention has features in that a drainage canal structure can be manufactured on the spot and can be installed in an easier way as compared with the conventional art in which the drainage canal structure is manufactured at a factory and is transported from the factory to the spot of the construction.
- In addition, the present invention makes it possible to guide the flow of water by installing a drainage canal structure at a drainage canal so as to prevent rain water or drainage water from flowing into the ground or onto the ground wherein the drainage canal where the drainage canal structure of the present invention is installed is provided at the ground near a cutting area, a river or an agricultural field so as to guide the flow of rain water or drainage water.
- As shown in
FIGS. 1 to 6 , the present invention is directed to a prefabrication typedrainage canal structure 100′ which is installed at adrainage canal 10′ formed on the ground of a cutting area and comprises adrainage canal body 200 a′ which is installed in thedrainage canal 10′ and is formed of a plurality of winkledunits 210′ protruding from its outer surface at regular interval, and acover unit 300′ which covers the tops of thedrainage canal body 200 a′ and at both sides of which is respectively provided an upside down channel shapedangle unit 310 a′ for thereby engaging both ends of the top of thedrainage canal body 200 a′ and which comprises a plurality ofconnection plates 320′ disposed at regular intervals in a longitudinal direction of the side portion of anangle unit 310 a′ for thereby connecting theangle units 310 a′ of both sides. - As shown in
FIGS. 6 and 7 , the upside down channel shapedangle unit 310 a′ is installed at both ends of the top of thedrainage canal body 200 a′. Theangle unit 310 a′ comprises ahorizontal part 311′ formed at the top and avertical part 312′ of one side or the other side vertically connected to both ends of thehorizontal part 311′. An engagingunit 313′ passes through thevertical part 312 of the one side. At thevertical part 312′ of the other side is formed aninsertion unit 314′ which faces the engagingunit 313′ of the vertical part of the one side and has a diameter two times the diameter of the engagingunit 313′. At both ends of the top of thedrainage canal body 200 a′ is provided an engagingunit 211′ which communicates with the engagingunit 313′ and theinsertion unit 314′. - The
screw bolt 50 a′ is inserted through theinsertion unit 314′ of theangle unit 310 a′ and passes through the engagingunit 211′ of thedrainage canal body 200 a′ and comes into close contact with the engagingunit 313′ of theangle unit 310 a′, so theangle unit 310 a′ of thecover unit 300′ is engaged to both ends of the top of thedrainage canal body 200 a′. - As shown in
FIG. 8 , ananchor pin 410′ is planted into the ground of the bottom of thedrainage canal 10′ in a diagonal direction outside thedrainage canal body 200 a′. There is further provided awire anchor 400′ formed of awire 420′engaged to thescrew bolt 50 a′ which protrudes from one side of theangle unit 310 a′ of thecover unit 300′, for thereby preventing thedrainage canal body 200 a′ mounted in thedrainage canal 10′ from disengaging. - The
anchor pin 410′ is formed of a flat plate whose vertical cross section is a V-shape. A throughhole 412′ is formed at awing unit 411′. Thewire anchor 400′ is formed in an upward direction as thewire 420′ is connected through the throughhole 412′. - As shown in
FIGS. 9 and 10 , there is further provided aprotection net 500′ which is covered over the top of thecover unit 300′, which makes it possible to prevent the impurities contained in rain water and wild animals from entering thedrainage canal body 200 a′. - The end portion of the
protection net 500′ is engaged, using a welding method or abolt 50 b′ whose head is a circular dish shape, to the top of thecover unit 300′, more specifically, thehorizontal part 311′ of theangle unit 310 a′ of thecover unit 300′, so people are interrupted when they pass by. - According to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in
FIGS. 11 to 23 , there is provided a prefabrication typedrainage canal structure 100 which has adrainage canal body 200 installed at a drainage canal disposed on the ground of a cutting area and having a channel shaped vertical cross section, which compriseshorizontal wing pieces 250 which extend in longitudinal directions from the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200; and a plurality of reinforcingunits 220 which are arranged at regular intervals traversing both sides of thedrainage canal body 200. - As shown in
FIG. 11 , the channel shapeddrainage canal body 200 may be manufactured in such a way that a flat steel plate is bent in a channel shape or a flat steel plate is connected in series by a welding in a channel shape. - As shown in
FIG. 16 , ahorizontal wing piece 250 may be prolonged in a longitudinal direction from the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200, and the plate shapedwing piece 250 is connected in a longitudinal direction to the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200. Theguide unit 270 is mounted on the top of thewing piece 250 for thereby reinforcing thewing piece 250, and the top of thedrainage canal 200 is covered by a net shapedprotection net 300. Both ends of theprotection net 300 surface-contact with theguide surface 271 of theguide unit 270 mounted on the top of thewing piece 250 and are engaged thereto using one of a screw, a piece, a rivet or a bolt and a nut, so only rain water can pass thanks to the net shapedprotection net 300, but gravels or impurities cannot pass through theprotection net 300. - As shown in
FIG. 17 , a plurality of reinforcingunits 220 partitioning at regular intervals the inner space of thedrainage canal body 200 are provided in rows while traversing the same for thereby preventing any transformation of thedrainage canal body 200 when soil pressure is applied thereto as it is installed at a drainage canal. The above mentioned reinforcingunits 220 are provided in multiple rows and in multiple tier structures at regular intervals in the interior of thedrainage canal structure 100 because it is impossible for the reinforcingunits 220, which used to be conventionally installed in one row, to endure the soil pressure or the internal pressure of the drainage canal body 200 (more specifically, the pressure which is inwardly applied due to the weight of the flat plate of both sides of the drainage canal) as the size of thedrainage canal body 200 changes based on the width of the drainage canal, and the width and depth of the inner side of the drainage canal increase. - The size of the
drainage canal body 200 changes based on the volume of the drainage canal. At this time, the reinforcingunits 220 each spaced apart at regular intervals while traversing from both sides of the inner space of thedrainage canal body 200 are installed in multiple rows based on the size of thedrainage canal body 200, thus keeping stably thedrainage canal body 200. - The reinforcing
units 220 of the present invention are provided so as to keep stability based on the size of thedrainage canal body 200; however they are not limited to the construction shown in the drawings. - The reinforcing
unit 220 can be manufactured in a circular rod shape, a plate shape, etc. and is not limited to its shape. It is provided for the purpose of reinforcing the inner structure of thedrainage canal body 200. - As shown in
FIGS. 19 to 21 , when the reinforcingunits 220 are installed in the upper, inner side of thedrainage canal body 200, the engaging surface of theguide unit 270 surface-contacts with the inner side surface of thedrainage canal body 200 and then is engaged to the same using a bolt and a nut or a rivet. At this time, the bolt and nut or rivet are integrally engaged to theengaging surface 272 of theguide unit 270 and one end of each of the reinforcingunits 220. When adrainage canal structure 100 is connected to anotherdrainage canal structure 100, one end of thedrainage canal structure 100 of one side is mounted and folded on the inner surface of one end of thedrainage canal structure 100 of the other side. The surface-contacting portions are engaged using a bolt and a nut or a rivet. At this time, the engagingsurface 272 of theguide unit 270 is integrally engaged to one end of each of the reinforcingunits 220, so the side surfaces of the foldingdrainage canal structures 100 are integrally engaged. - As shown in
FIGS. 11 and 13 , at the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200 is provided adrainage canal structure 100 in which there are provided a plurality of throughholes 230 which are spaced apart in longitudinal directions at regular intervals. - Since there are installed a plurality of through
holes 230 which are formed on the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200 in longitudinal directions at regular intervals, the rain water which is inputted along with soil and sand from both sides of the drainage canal can be inputted through the throughholes 230 for thereby preventing the collapse of the soil and sand of both sides wherein thedrainage canal body 200 is installed at a drainage canal. - The through
holes 230 protrude outwards from the side surfaces of thedrainage canal body 200 and are formed in a protruded triangle shape when viewing from the front of thedrainage canal structure 100. The rain water flowing in from the side surfaces of the drainage canal moves into the interior of thedrainage canal body 200 through the throughholes 230 and flows along. - In addition, instead of using the above mentioned shape of the through
hole 230, an oblique shape or projecting shape throughhole 230 may be provided so as to prevent the clogging when rain flows in through the throughholes 230 which are cut away in an oblique shape from the side surfaces of thedrainage canal body 200. - As shown in
FIGS. 11 , 12 and 29, there may be provided a horizontal flatshape guide surface 271 formed in a longitudinal direction at each of the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200, and aguide unit 270 which is formed of anengaging surface 272 bent from an end portion of theguide surface 271 in a vertical direction and extending from the same. Theguide unit 270 is installed at the top of each of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200. In the above mentioned structure, one surface of the engagingsurfaces 272 of theguide unit 270 comes into surface contact with one surface of the top of thedrainage canal body 200 and is engaged by a screw, a piece, a bolt and a nut or a rivet, so theguide unit 270 is engaged to each of the tops of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200. - As shown in
FIG. 16 , both ends of theprotection net 300 surface-contacts with theguide surface 271 of theguide unit 270 for thereby covering the tops of thedrainage canal body 200, and both ends of theprotection net 300 which surface-contacts with theguide surface 271 of theguide unit 270 are engaged using a screw, a piece, a bolt and a nut or a rivet for thereby finishing an installation at the drainage canal. - One end of the
guide surface 271 of theguide unit 270 is engaged as theengaging surface 272 bent and extending long in a vertical direction surface-contacts with a side surface of the inner side of thedrainage canal body 200, and the other end of theguide surface 271 of theguide unit 270 is short in a vertical direction, more specifically, is shorter than the length of theengaging surface 272 and surface-contacts with the end portion of thewing piece 250 of thedrainage canal body 200, so theguide unit 270 surface-contacts with thewing piece 250 of thedrainage canal body 200 and does not escape. - As shown in
FIGS. 14 , 15 and 16, there are provided a plurality of upper reinforcingplates 280 which are spaced apart at regular intervals and traverse theengaging surface 272 of the guide unit which surface-contacts with the tops of thewing pieces 250 of both sides of thedrainage canal body 200 before the net shapedprotection net 300 is installed. Here, the net shapedprotection net 300 is installed at regular intervals over the tops of the upper reinforcingplates 280 disposed at regular intervals and traversing theengaging surface 272 of theguide unit 270 engaged to the tops of thewing pieces 250 formed at both sides of thedrainage canal body 200, and thedrainage canal structure 100 is provided over the top of the net shapedprotection net 300 and is strong enough for people to step on. - As shown in
FIGS. 27 to 33 , there are provided a plurality of wave-shaped reinforcingunits 210 which are formed at regular intervals on an outer surface, an inner surface or both outer and inner surfaces of thedrainage canal body 200. The wave-shaped reinforcingunits 210 which protrude at regular intervals on an outer surface, an inner surface or both inner and outer surfaces of thedrainage canal body 200 is strong like the drainage canal body formed in a flat plate structure. Thanks to the wave-shaped reinforcingunits 200, it is possible to prevent any transformation due to external impacts in the middle of manufacture or construction. In addition, it is possible to prevent any transformation of thedrainage canal structure 100 due to the soil pressure in the interior of the drainage canal when it is installed at a drainage canal for thereby enhancing a physical property of the structure. - The shape of the wave-shaped reinforcing
unit 210 may be a semicircular shape, an inverted triangle shape or a quadrangle shape. Such shapes do not limit the scope of the present invention. It may be formed in various shapes. - As shown in
FIGS. 30 , 31 and 32, when interconnecting thedrainage canal structures 100, a plate shaped first assemblingunit 240 a extending with a certain is formed at one side of the inner surface of thedrainage canal body 200. There is provided a plate shaped second assemblingunit 240 b extending with a certain width wider in such a way that the width of the other side of the inner surface is wider as compared with the width of thefirst assembling unit 240 a formed at one side of thedrainage canal body 200. - When the
drainage canal structures 100 are interconnected and assembled, they are assembled in such a way to be folded at both ends of the assembleddrainage canal body 200. When assembling in such a way to be folded, thefirst assembling unit 240 a of the end portion of thedrainage canal body 200 of one side is folded on thesecond assembling unit 240 b of the end portion of thedrainage canal body 200 of the other side and is engaged thereto by a screw, a piece, a bolt and a nut or a rivet for thereby withstanding the soil pressure which is transferred to the leakage prevention and engaging portions for thereby preventing any transformation and leakage of thedrainage canal structure 100. - As shown in
