Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an exercise device, and more particularly to portable exercise device.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- Currently, a typical exercise device, as shown in
FIG. 16 andFIG. 17 , comprises: apad 70 with a securing base for connecting to amassaging module 80. Themassaging module 80 utilizes amotor 82 to drive twodriving shafts 83 and twoeccentric wheels 84. The twoeccentric wheels 84 are respectively disposed at two opposite ends and connected to twostraps 81. Themotor 82 is a double-phase motor and used for driving thedriving shafts 83, and theeccentric wheel 84 utilizes aneccentric member 841 to be connected to an assemblingmember 842 and abearing 843 to be disposed at two opposite ends of thedriving shaft 83. Thestrap 81 is connected to the assemblingmember 842 of theeccentric wheels 84 and has anadjustable fastening section 811, and theadjustable fastening section 811 is one part of a paired buckle or Velcro. - When the
motor 82 is active, thedriving shaft 83 is driven to rotate theeccentric member 841 of theeccentric wheels 84, such that the assemblingmember 842 is drive by thebearing 843. Therefore, thestraps 81 are respectively placed through thepad 70 and provide vibration movements. - However, above-mention device has following issues: 1. The
massaging module 80 is required to be equipped with thepad 70, which is very inconvenient. 2. Themassaging module 80 provides vibration movements to human body, which can also cause discomfort. 3. The vibration movement tends to affect the skin layer more than the muscles, which cannot provide exercising effect. 4. Thepad 70 limits the length of thestraps 81, which reduce the exercising effect. - Furthermore, another exercise device, as shown in
FIG. 18 andFIG. 19 , comprises a base, a supportingcolumn 91 extending from one side of thebase 90. The supporting column 9 is provided with acontroller 92, ahook 93 respectively disposed two sides of thecontroller 92, and a connectingloop 94 is attached onto eachhook 93. The connectingloops 94 are used for being connected to abelt 95, and anelastic strap 96 is attached at a predetermined position. - However, the above-mentioned device has following issues: 1. The exercise device is not portable, which is very inconvenient. 2. The
belt 95 and thestrap 96 provide vibration movements to human body, which can also cause discomfort. 3. The vibration movement tends to affect the skin layer more than the muscles, which cannot provide exercising effect. 4. Thebelt 95 only touches small area of human skin, which limits the exercising effect. 5. Thestrap 96 is attached onto thebelt 95, however, the vibration movements between the two can be interference with each other which can cause discomfort to a user. - Therefore, it is desirable to provide a portable exercise device to mitigate and/or obviate the aforementioned problems.
- An objective of the present invention is to provide a portable exercise device.
- In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, a portable exercise device includes a main body, a driving device, at least one transmission member, at least two straps and at least two assembling members. The main body has an inner space, the inner space has a containment space, and a limiting slot and an opening are respectively disposed on a bottom portion and a sidewall of opposite sides of the main body. The driving device is a motor disposed in the containment space of the main body, the driving device connected to an eccentric member and a driving shaft. The transmission member includes a longitudinal slot and an extension arm disposed adjacent to each of two sides of the longitudinal slot, the transmission member disposed in the inner space of the main body, the eccentric member inserted through the longitudinal slot, and front and rear sidewalls of the main body are configured to position the transmission member such that the transmission member is capable of moving only in the inner space of the main body. A first end of each strap is placed through a corresponding opening of the main body and attached onto a corresponding extension arm of the transmission member in via a corresponding assembling member, and a second end of each strap provides an adjustable fastening section. Each assembling member is placed through the corresponding extension arm of the transmission member and the corresponding limiting slot of the main body, such that each assembling member couples the strap and the transmission member together, and the two assembling members are respectively secured onto a bottom portion the main body.
- With the above-mentioned exercise device has following benefits: 1.
- The main body is a portable size, which is convenient for the user. 2. The straps are able to surround a large area of human body area, which can provide better massaging effect. 3. The straps provide non-vibration movement to the human body area, which can prevent discomfort feelings. 4. The straps are capable of dragging muscle and fat on the human body, which can provide massaging effect and exercising effect at the same time. 5. The long and adjustable straps allow the exercise device to be placed around most of human body areas. 6. The long and adjustable straps provide synchronized movements to the human body without discomfort feeling. When the drivingdevice 20 is activated, thetransmission member 30 drives the two assemblingmembers 60 to slide, the twostraps 50 provide synchronized pushing and pulling movements onto the muscle and fat at the hip area and abdominal area for exercising effect. - For different body areas, since the
loop 51 of thestrap 50 is adjustable, thestraps 50 can be placed around an upper leg area or a lower leg area of the user, as shown inFIG. 11 orFIG. 12 . When the drivingdevice 20 is activated, thetransmission member 30 drives the two assemblingmembers 60 to slide, the twostraps 50 provide synchronized pushing and pulling movements onto the muscle and fat at the upper leg area or the lower leg area and abdominal area for exercising effect. Furthermore, the drivingdevice 20 can be a single-phase motor (as shown inFIG. 6 ) or a double-phase motor (as shown inFIG. 13 ). When the drivingdevice 20 is a double-phase motor, twotransmission member 30 are respectively mounted onto a top face and a bottom face of the drivingdevice 20, which is connected to abearing 23 jacketed onto theeccentric member 22. - With the above-mentioned exercise device has following benefits: 1. The
main body 10 is a portable size, which is convenient for the user. 2. Thestraps 50 are able to surround a large area of human body area, which can provide better massaging effect. 3. Thestraps 50 provide non-vibration movement to the human body area, which can prevent discomfort feelings. 4. - The
straps 50 are capable of dragging muscle and fat on the human body, as shown inFIG. 15 , which can provide massaging effect and exercising effect at the same time. 5. The long andadjustable straps 50 allow the exercise device to be placed around most of human body areas. 6. The long andadjustable straps 50 provide synchronized movements to the human body without discomfort feeling. - Although the present invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
