Description
- 1. Technical Field
- The present inventive concept relates to sportswear and outdoor clothing having a string, and more particularly to sportswear and outdoor clothing capable of protecting face and neck areas in the outdoor activities.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- Currently, many people exercise on a regular basis for health. In particular, people who enjoy hiking, golf and biking on the weekends are increasing.
- However, there is a problem such that the face (i.e., nose and mouth) and neck areas are exposed to ultraviolet light due to strong sunlight in golf rounding. Also, when hiking, biking and fishing in the season when the weather conditions are poor, the face (i.e., nose and mouth) and neck areas are exposed to the external environment such as snow and wind, and there is a problem such that it is impossible to protect the body from the cold.
- Accordingly, people who enjoy outdoor activities (exercising, fishing, walking, etc.) should separately prepare protection products due to the change in weather which is difficult to predict, and it is burdensome.
- Therefore, there is a need to provide a product that can remove the hassle caused when the user separately prepares a protection product in the outdoor activities.
- The present invention provides sportswear and outdoor clothing capable of protecting face and neck areas from the external environment such as ultraviolet (UV) rays, snow and wind in the outdoor activities.
- The objects of the present invention are not limited thereto, and the other objects of the present invention will be described in or be apparent from the following description of the embodiments.
- According to an aspect of the present invention, there are provided sportswear and outdoor clothing, comprising: a body unit which is put on an upper body of a wearer; a protection unit which is extended from an upper end of the body unit, and protects face and neck areas of the wearer from external environment; and a string which is connected to two upper spots of the protection unit, and is configured to cover a head area of the wearer.
- The above and other aspects and features of the present invention will become more apparent by describing in detail exemplary embodiments thereof with reference to the attached drawings, in which:
-
FIG. 1 is a front view of sportswear and outdoor clothing in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention; -

-
FIG. 1 is a front view showing sportswear and outdoor clothing in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.FIG. 2 shows sportswear and outdoor clothing in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention.FIG. 3 shows sportswear and outdoor clothing in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention. - As illustrated, sportswear and outdoor clothing 100 (hereinafter, referred to as “clothing”) having a string may include a
body unit 110, aprotection unit 120, astring 130 and aholder 140. - The
body unit 110 is put on an upper body of a wearer, and includeslong sleeves 111 and abody surface 112. An upper side of thebody surface 112 is connected to theprotection unit 120 capable of protecting the face and neck areas of the wearer. - The
protection unit 120 is configured to protect the face and neck areas from the external environment such as ultraviolet (UV) rays, snow and wind in the outdoor activities. Theprotection unit 120 is extended from the upper end of thebody surface 112 of thebody unit 110. - In addition, as a first embodiment, the
protection unit 120 may have a circular form and the same height from the lower side to the upper side. Further, as a second embodiment, theprotection unit 120 may have different heights from the lower side to the upper side and at least a portion of theprotection unit 120 may be configured to cover the wearer's head. - For example, in the case of the
protection unit 120 as in the first embodiment, theprotection unit 120 may be fixed to the head with thestring 130 while covering the face area of the wearer (seeFIGS. 2 and 4 ). In the case of theprotection unit 120 as in the second embodiment, theprotection unit 120 may be fixed to the head with thestring 130 while covering the side surfaces of the face including the ears of the wearer (seeFIGS. 5 and 6 ). - The
string 130 is connected to two upper spots of theprotection unit 120 and configured to cover the face area of the wearer. In this case, thestring 130 may be fixed to various positions (e.g., crown or rear portion) of the head of the wearer. - The
holder 140 is provided on thestring 130 to adjust the length of thestring 130 in accordance with the wearer's head. In this case, theholder 140 includesholes 142 through which two lines of thestring 130 pass, and an adjustingpart 141 to tighten or release thestring 130. - For example, the
holder 140 prevents theprotection unit 120 for covering the face and neck areas of the wearer from falling down by adjusting the length of thestring 130 in accordance with the face of the wearer. - Meanwhile, the
body unit 110 and theprotection unit 120 of theclothing 100 are made of a fiber material such as polyester, spandex, polypropylene, polyamide, cotton, rayon, and acryl, but it is not necessarily limited thereto. - The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to
FIGS. 2 and 4 . - As shown in
FIG. 2 , the user (i.e., wearer) wearing theclothing 100 pulls theprotection unit 120 of theclothing 100 toward the wearer's head to cover the nose, mouth and ears of the face. Then, the user tightens thestring 130 in accordance with his/her face using theholder 140, and fixes thestring 130 to a predetermined position of the head. - Further, as shown in
FIGS. 3 and 4 , the user wearing theclothing 100 may cover only the mouth and ears of the face, or cover only the neck area of the user wearing theclothing 100 by pulling theprotection unit 120 of theclothing 100 toward the wearer's head. In this case, the wearer may fix thestring 130 to various positions (e.g., crown or rear portion) of the head. - The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to
FIGS. 5 and 6 . The user wearing theclothing 100 may pull theprotection unit 120 of theclothing 100 toward the head of the wearer to cover the side surfaces of the face including the ears of the wearer, and fix theprotection unit 120 to the head with thestring 130. In this case, the wearer may cover the neck and ear areas, and thestring 130 may be fixed to various positions (e.g., crown or rear portion) of the head of the wearer. - Thus, the user wearing the
clothing 100 may cover only the mouth and ears of the face and expose the nose to avoid inconvenience in breathing when climbing a mountain, or cover the nose, mouth and ears except for the eyes of the face to protect the body from the cold in the cold weather in the winter by adjusting the length of thestring 130. Further, at rest or meal, thestring 130 may be located at the back of the neck such that all of the face is exposed for the comfortable rest and meal. - In addition, the user wearing the
clothing 100 can cover the nose, mouth and ears except for the eyes of the face to protect most of the face in golf rounding, and comfortably enjoy the meal and chat by locating thestring 130 at the back of the neck in the clubhouse or the like. - The sportswear and outdoor clothing according to the present invention as described above provide at least one of the following effects.
- First, there is an advantage of protecting the face and neck areas from the external environment such as ultraviolet (UV) rays, snow and wind in the outdoor activities.
- Second, there is an advantage that the user wearing the sportswear and outdoor clothing can selectively cover the user's body (i.e., face and neck) intended to be protected from the external environment.
- Third, there is an advantage that the user can wear the sportswear and outdoor clothing in accordance with the face of the wearer while preventing the clothing from falling down by adjusting the length of the string, and it is possible to fix the string to various positions (e.g., crown or rear portion) of the head to avoid inconvenience when using a hat, bandana, glasses, or the like.
- In concluding the detailed description, those skilled in the art will appreciate that many variations and modifications can be made to the preferred embodiments without substantially departing from the principles of the present invention. Therefore, the disclosed preferred embodiments of the invention are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation.
