隙間に風や雨が入ってきたりして寒い思いをしなくては
ならなかった。又、頭部まわりのみサイズ調節できるフ
ードも、前記とは逆でフードの前方縁部分と額に隙間が
でき、その隙間に風や雨が入ってしまう欠点を有してい
た。又、実公平３−２２２４８号においては、頭部の高
さ方向と頭部まわりのサイズ両方を調節できる機能を兼
ね備えているが、この場合、頭部のまわりの方向を調節
する横帯と頭部の高さ方向を調節する縦帯の２つの帯か
ら形成されており、個々にサイズ調節しなければならな
いので非常に手間であった。又、横帯はリングに通すだ
けなのでサイズ調節しても激しい動きを行うとゆるんで
くると言う欠点があった。又、縦帯の場合はベルベット
ファスナーで調節するため、前記同様激しい動きを行う
とはずれてしまう恐れがあった。よって、同時に頭部の
高さ方向と頭部まわりのサイズ調節ができて、且つ激し
い動きにも強いサイズ調節機能を有するフードが求めら

部の高さ方向のサイズと頭部まわりのサイズが同時に調
節できるような構造にした。又、複数個のベルトループ
にドローコードを挿通させるとともに最下部に形成した
前記ベルトループの端部にリングを装着し、該リングに
前記ドローコードを挿通させ、該挿通したドローコード
にストッパーを摺動自在に係止し、該ストッパーによっ
て、頭部の高さ方向のサイズと頭部まわりのサイズが調

【実施例】本発明に係るサイズ調節機能を有するフード

Ａ、左側部のベルトループ２Ｂ、右側部のベルトループ
２Ｃにドローコード３を挿通させ、該ドローコード３を
結節又は絞り込みによって、頭部の高さ方向及び頭部ま
わりのサイズ調節ができるものである。又、図２に示す
ように、フード１の後側部の略中央部にベルトループ２
を複数個配置し、該ベルトループ２にドローコード３を
挿通させるとともに最下部に形成した前記ベルトループ
２の端部にリング４を装着し、該リング４に前記ドロー
コード３を挿通させ、該挿通したドローコード３にスト
ッパー５を摺動自在に係止し、該ストッパー５を動かす
ことによって、頭部の高さ方向及び頭部まわりのサイズ

ため、フードと額部分や耳部分の間に隙間が開くことな
く、雨や風が入ってくることがないので寒い思いをする
こともない。又、強い風が吹いても、フードが頭部にフ
ィットしているので、フードがばたつくことがない。
又、フードのサイズ調節が容易に出来るので、天候など
に合わせて視界を良くし安全性も向上する。又、ストッ
パーとリングがついているため、激しい動きにもゆるむ
