Description
- 1. Fields of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a curtain frame, especially to a curtain frame that is fixed on a ceiling or installed between walls on two sides so as to meet practical needs.
- 2. Descriptions of Related Art
- In interior decoration, curtains are used for privacy, light control, decorative aspect of the wall, and noise absorption and isolation. According to different functions, there are various kinds of curtains. For example, different areas inside the house have different requirements of curtains for privacy issues. In the living room, a slightly more transparent curtain is selected while a thick and heavy fabric is used in the bedroom. Moreover, a light curtain fabric such as scrim curtain is used to offer light effectively and still giving privacy. Furthermore, the curtain with certain thickness not only absorbs outside noises but also improves the effects of sound insulation inside the house. Thus better indoor sound quality is provided. In addition, the proper curtain makes the perfect decoration for your room.
- Refer to U.S. Pat. No. 6,935,401, a window treatment or
roller shade system 6 includes ahead rail 61, aspring clutch 62, disposed on one end of thehead rail 61, an idler arranged at the other end of thehead rail 61, and a pair ofbrackets 63 mounted along the ends of thehead rail 61. Eachbracket 63 includes a first engagement member arranged and constructed to couple to thespring clutch 62 and a second engagement member arranged and constructed to couple to the idler. - The two
brackets 63 are identical while onebracket 63 is selectively coupled to thespring clutch 62 by its first engagement member and theother bracket 63 is coupled to the idler by its second engagement member. - However, in practice, the above window treatment or roller shade system has following disadvantages:
- 1. In the window treatment or roller shade system, the head rail is only a thin plate so that the head rail is assembled on a side wall by brackets on two ends thereof. The industrial applications of the device are reduced.
2. The head rail of the window treatment or roller shade system can only protect a front side of the system but not cover on the top thereof. Thus dust easily gets into an inner space of the system. This not only causes inconvenience in cleaning but also has negative effects on operations of the system components such as the spring clutch. - Therefore it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a curtain frame that is fixed on a ceiling by disposition of fix bases on a top horizontal rail thereof. Or the curtain frame is installed between walls on two sides by the brackets arranged on two ends of the top horizontal rail thereof so as to meet practical needs. Moreover, the top horizontal rail prevents dust and dirt from approaching the inner space of the curtain frame and further keeps the cleanness therein. The normal operation of the components in the curtain frame such as a curtain controller is also ensured.

Moreover, a bracket is connected with each of two ends of the top plate and a curtain controller is mounted between the brackets. A central shaft of the curtain controller is a rotating shaft arranged rotatably for control of extension and retraction of a curtain. One end of the curtain controller is arranged with a bead chain that drives the rotating shaft to rotate. And a guiding seat is set on the flange on the bottom of the bracket assembled with the curtain controller. The guiding seat is mounted with a plurality of through holes that are inserted by the bead chain of the curtain controller. Furthermore, a plurality of fix bases, each with a plurality of holes, is locked on the top of the top horizontal rail. The fix bases are fixed on the ceiling by threaded fasteners inserting through the holes of the fix bases.
- In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the top plate and the side plate are connected integratedly.
