I claim:
1. The combination with a garment which would normally be inclined forwardly as the wearer bends forwardly, of a pocket secured to the outer side of the garment, the same comprising an outer and substantially rectangular patch portion and a shorter, inwardly and upwardly turned pouch portion; the latter being'cut off diagonally at its upi-lturned margin and thereby attached to the garment, the sides of the patch portion above the diagonal margin of the pouch portion being also attached to the garment, thereby forming a pouch, which under the weight of a watch or the like placed therein, will, as the garment is inclined forwardly, swing outwardly from the garment at its lower end and hang in a vertical plane from its diagonal line of connection to,the garpouchl. Q N o, o 7 T 2. 1m combination with a portion of a garment ment, with the watch in the deeper corner of the normally 'inclinable forwardly with the wearer thereof, apocket attached to the outer side thereof, the same comprising an outer patch portion and a shorter, inwardly and upwardly turned pouch portion, the latter being extended diagonally at its upper margin relative to the lateral margins of the patch portion and being thereby attached to the garment, the sides of the patch portion above this diagonal upper margin of the pouch portion being also attached to the garment by seams adapted to stand vertically with the wearer of the garment, the longer side margin of they patch portion being also, attached to the garment on a line spaced inwardly from and extended parallel to the outer and longer marginal line of attachment of the patch portion, thereby providing both a pouch having an upwardly disposed opening and a separate pencil receptacle restrictive of the pouch opening, whereby with an object within the pouch and the garment inclined forwardly, the pouch will swing outward from its diagonal line of connection to the garment, thereby safeguarding the said object against falling out of the pouch. i
